OF David Dahl (A pot.), SS Trevor Story (A pot.), OF Charlie Blackmon (B pot.) for a 30 year old OF Nick Markakis... wow.

That happened in my RTTS. Thanks for the manual injure option devs.

Not using 30 team control, im 92 games in. Ive seen some real strange stuff:

Alexei Ramirez has been dealt 3 times in one month (Mariners, Phillies, and now on Brewers)

White Sox have acquired N. Story, N. Arenado, Wil Myers and Tyler Skaggs. All theyve given up is Ramirez, John Danks, and Nathan Jones.

Dodgers traded Carl Crawford to the Angels for JB Shuck. Dodgers also acquired Homer Bailey, Dan Uggla (who they traded Sano for whom they got from the Twins). They also traded Bellisaro for Brewers SS Scooter Gennett. Now they have 9 starters in on their staff.

In hindsight, I shouldve turned trades off.

Will controlling all 30 teams make Franchise Mode better?

Do you have to draft for all 30 teams?

I make it a habit to put a bunch of guys on the trade block so I see CPU trade offers more often. Because of this, I get a ton of terrible trade offers. The last one was Cliff Lee for Vernon Wells and Nix from the Yankees.

It certainly makes it more realistic, but it also takes away from the sense of randomness that baseball has. I usually like to run one franchise with 30-team on, and one without it.

The Rockies must really not like Story and Pomeranz in my 'chise lol. They just offered them to the Tigers for V-Mart and Al Albuquerque.

They must have needed a "proven" closer

What is the context of these trades?
Do teams have major injuries to fill?
                            Is their Payroll too high?
Are they in or out of a Pennant Race?

Because, maybe I don't know as much as you guys do, but a lot of these outrageous trades look fairly reasonable to me under the right circumstances,

The CPU has god awful trade logic. They don't value young players very highly and will often deal them before anyone.
