    MLB The Show on Projector

I am in the process of buying a projector and a 120" fixed frame screen. The projector I've had my eye on is a Panasonic AT-AR100u.

Has anyone played The Show on a projector? I'm currently playing on a Samsung 46" LED and have never had any of the lag problems discussed in the forums. I'm concerned that moving to a projector and 120" screen may produce some lag issues.

    Any suggestions?

Are you getting rid of your 46"? If not and The Show looks bad on the 120 then you still got a back up.

I wouldnt think it would but..... you never know.

Nah I'll keep the 46". I was just curious if anyone had played on a projector and how it looks and plays. I'm sure it all depends on the quality of the projector.

I have a BenQ w1070 projector and I've actually found the opposite to be true. My projector has less lag than my 52" Sony Bravia, and I usually have to adjust my timing accordingly. It's not a huge difference, but definitely noticeable, especially with the timing window in MLB 13... I guess to describe it, playing MLB 12 on the projector made it's timing similar to MLB 13, if that makes sense. So basically I have to crank up pitch speed in this years game on the projector.

I would imagine that it's no different than switching from a LCD or Plasma to an LED, with the frame rate booster? That's unplayable lag, there.

I can imagine, however, that playing on a 120" screen must be the most amazing thing. I envy that. (still playing on a 46"...)

i have an epson 8350. on the projector, even with pitch speed at 10, i am early on almost everything.

when i bring the ps3 downstairs onto the 46" vizio led-lcd, i am usually late on everything unless i lower the slider down to 8 or less
