So I don't think Ramone has to call EA and ask how they're able to fit in 6 more stadiums when The Show has far more than 6 more stadiums in the game already....Comment

I would guess that they can have closed stadiums in Madden because they have less space going into structural detection, making the stadiums smaller in a data sense. Can you imagine a foul ball in the upper deck warping through the stands? There are people on here that complain that fans can't catch the ball.
What actually in that game has collision detection; players on the field, the ground they play on, uprights, and maybe the refs? Heck the players on the sideline are just some random graphics standing there doing nothing.
And that's just a small part of it. Like somebody else said, Madden is more stripped down than it seems.Last edited by sydrogerdavid; 04-05-2014, 09:58 PM.Comment

He said it's on their radar and they will if they can. Never guaranteed them.Comment

I understand that having the roofs close slowly while the game is on would be difficult to re-create...
but couldn't they at least give us the option to play an entire game with the roofs closed, in each of the 6 stadiums that have retractable roofs ?
This would create different atmospheric conditions for the ball to travel, rather than playing all games in these stadiums with open roofs !Comment

Also a Brewer fan and would love this but understand the problems with not only the look and feel but also it would really mess with "wind" and so forth adding more code to an already crowded group of lines.
I'm glad I'm not the ONLY PS3 player.Comment

I can understand the memory issues for the PS3, but her's one thing I can NOT [under]stand. I bought the game, booted it up and started a game at Minute Maid Park. I already knew we weren't going to have the option to close the roof, but when it started up the animation...the stadium looked the exact same as last year (which was also wrong). They put in the effort to make it look like it actually does in the PS4, so why would they purposely use an outdated model after boasting about all the new additions they made to each venue (Comparisons below).
2014/2015 PS3
Real Life (PS4 Version)
As you can see, the outfield wall is all wrong. I know I'm probably nit-picking, but for a game that claims to be the best, the show needs to back up their talk. To be the best, you have to make your product look the way it does in real life. I'm sure that's not the only stadium they skipped over, but being from Houston, I am absolutely sick of not getting the proper respect. BTW, PS4 still doesn't have an option to close the roofs. I don't get it. They're basically charging us $45-70 for updated rosters and a new soundtrack...which is legit. Music is the one thing that's solid year to year.Comment
