    In the Park Homerun scored as a Triple?

    Anyone else have this problem?

    There was no error on the play, CF crashed into the wall, LF picked up the ball, but I was already cruising around third when he hit the cut-off man.

    Slid under the catcher mit and got a Triple.

      I have that problem in MVP Baseball 2005, every time I get inside the park home run, it says it is a triple, but when the CPU gets an inside the park against me in a game in MVP Baseball 2005, it says it is a home run.

          Yeah the same thing have happened to me. I haven't gotten in the park homerun in ages though, MVP 2005 was probably the last time I did that (of course counted as a triple)

              Well it doesn't happen 100% of the time. I got an inside the parker just the other day and it was labeled/scored a HR.

              But I've also seen hits scored incorrectly many times, so don't think that I'm doubting you or anything.

              I've had triples scored as doubles.

              I think it has to do with the use of (and timing of) a cut-off man.

                  Bobhead is right, sometimes it is based on the timing of the throw from either the outfielder, or cut-off man. Basically labeling it as a triple but advancing on the throw.

                  It happens to me sometimes when I get Insider's so I understand.

                      Never had an inside the park homerun, but have had this happen on a lot of doubles. Get the double but only counted as a single!
