More animations......For every aspect of the game. Would love to see multiple styles of base running, diving, jumping, throwing, slides/collisions at bases. How many times in real life when we look at highlights are we still blown away what we just saw? ... When playing The Show, the animations can get rather repetitive and there are still things we aren't getting in this game that happen in the real life MLB.

Franchise - More depth. Scouting needs much more. Just feels too bland and boring.

Another thing I'd like to see, I was surprised it wasn't in this year's game. 7 Day DL for concussions.

Re: My MLB The Show 14 Wishlist

My wishlist mostly revolves around in-game graphics.

        1. The pitcher's gloves need to be a bit bigger or the ball has to be smaller. In real life, so can barley see the ball in the pitchers glove when he comes to a set position, but in the game, the ball looks huge and is about 75% the size of the glove. Plus I hate it how the pitcher doesn't have a grip on the ball until the last second, it looks way to roboticy.

        2. I'd like to see fielders have smoother throws. I love the new ball phisics but again, some of the plays the infielders make look like robots made them.

        3. Authentic LED ribbons. I'm sure these will be in with the PS4 version. Basically I'd just like that batter, stats, and a few advertisements to be on the ribbon like in real life. Not some stupid slogan like "The Legacy Continues".

        4. Stadium cut scenes. Another thing that I believe will be in next year. With the PS4, I expect stadiums to be much more realistic and 3D looking, especially the terraces, flowers, etc. I'd love to see some scenes of fans walking into the stadium, or maybe entering the gate and/or walking around the terrace waiting in beer lines. That would be awesome.

Well I currently don't own a PS3, but I'm go out on a limb and always hope someday this game reaches PC - That will be the day.

So I'm going to wait for the next GEN PS4 to get MLB 14 the show rather than PS3 - Unless magic happens and it comes to PC

              1. Full A roster
              2. Editable Draft Class
              3. Expand Coaches (AAA/AA/A Managers, Bench Coach, Bullpen Coach, Hire/Fire mid-season, Editable coaches)
              4. Edit service time, stats, and potential of all players
              5. Better contract options (incentives, multiple option years)

                1) More stats.

                2) I'd love to see stats with the user profile. I think this used to be in past iterations of The Show. What I would LOVE to see is user profile stats that show all the usual stuff...avg, total hits, total HRs...etc, etc, etc but most importantly what my batting average is versus each type of pitch. I've been looking forward to getting this for years with no luck.

                3) Taming of the regression. Dickey, in mid June 2013 (just 60 games into my season), is down 4-6 points across almost every attribute. I like to play with no changes to the roster so the team looks like the real life counterpart, but I don't plan on going into the playoffs with Dickey down 6-10 points if this regression continues through the 2nd half. I may need to dump him for another starter. Regression like this should not happen in season.

As far as I'm concerned though, gameplay is unbelievable.

User stats: This is one of the few things the other game got right. I want to see my batting average, HR, RBI, etc. vs. righty and lefty picthing and pitching stats, likewise.

More immersive franchise mode: Again, similar to the other game, I want to see a screen with headlines telling me what's happening around the majors, like "Verlander's 2-hitter shuts down Indians,'' and "Trout hits for cycle in 12-7 win over A's.'' As it stands, we have to look through each game's box score to cull highlights.

Team uniforms in All-Star game: Not sure if this is possible even with the greater memory of the next-gen consoles, but it would be awesome to be able to play the All-Star game with players wearing their actual unis. If they could do this, how awesome would it be to recreate past All-Star games, or create teams of legendary players going up against current All-Stars (I know you can do this now, but it would be something else if we could see these players in their regular unis).
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

"What? You can't challenge a scoring play?''

Re: My MLB The Show 14 Wishlist

I think it's fair to say that some of the recent additions to MLB the Show have been "influenced" by PYS and so I hope they go the whole hog with regards to some aspects of the game.

Cursor batting: The PCI is all well and good but it is a circle and takes up over half the zone. I would love the option to use cursor batting, not just because it is far more realistic than the PCI but it would surely help with ball physics. It should also put an end to me being able to foul off pitches when my PCI is at the opposite end of the zone to where the ball has been pitched to.

Pitching: The pulse pitching is nice but it needs to be more like PYS in that you should only get one shot at it or at the very least it should get quicker with every pulse. The speed it pulses should also be more determined by attributes like the rating/control of the pitch you are throwing, RISP etc. PYS 13 has this perfected this year.

Also, assuming 2k isn't entering the market next year, a blatant copy of their pitching mechanics/style would also be a welcome addition!!

Ball Physics: Yes they have improved this year but the fact that I can still hit a home run when my PCI is above the ball makes no sense.

Generated Pitch Counts: Sometimes I'm in a rush or just fancy a quickie, so having this option (or some kind of quick play option that doesn't involve the wonky skip to next innings) would be greatly appreciated.

Real Life Stadium Advertising: I hate to go on about PYS but having the real life stadium adverts in the game make it look so much better.

Finally, as in MLB 2009, the ability to switch the CPU come back ON/OFF.... even if it doesn't actually do anything, at least it would stop all the come back code debates!!

My previous wish lists used to be a page long, but as of now, the only things I need are:

                      More stats

                      and

More than 3 players per trade

Anything else is just icing on the cake.

Single A teams and a more in-depth ownership mode would help to complete the franchise experience.
More throwbacks and uniforms in general. Brewers, Rays, and Mets come to mind as having current alts out of the game. And there are so many throwbacks missing, but I think I'm preaching to the choir on that one. For next-gen, I wouldn't mind improved physics and more realistic speeds, and a more realistic crowd. Also wouldn't mind a relocation or expansion or at least a rebranding feature in franchise, as well as creating your own stadiums(which would help As/Rays fans in franchise)

1.) Another free agent pool and more options to edit the current SCEA players.

2.) Make your own teams/stadiums in regular modes outside of online play. ASB had these features back in the day.

3.) Editable service time and potential, you should be able to make CAPs to determine whether a player is a rookie or not.

4.) Pitches such as vulcan change, spitball, etc. should be available to use for created players.

5.) In-game ratings calculator... I'd like an idea of what a player's ceiling is gonna be based upon the attributes I put in.. (ASB) did this.

6.) Player regression is a nice feature, but shouldn't we be able to disable it? (video game logic)

7.) Something similar to eyetoy or some way to help with faces for CAPs and allow user to make custom batting stances and pitching deliveries.

8.) Height/weight barriers, not too mention jersey# restrictions should be able to be bypassed for historical roster creation or otherwise. For example, I want to make Frank Thomas, Kyle Blanks, or Dmitri Young the official weight regardless of height.

9.) Updating the game removes players that have retired from the game, but I'd like the option to put these players back into the game.

10.) More commentary, Steve Lyons had some pretty good interactions with Thom Brennaman in ASB and so did Bob Brenley. I'd prefer to not have Campbell/Hudler's lines spoken by Lyons/Karros almost word-for-word.

11.) More customization for players, some names need audio and MLB 2K5 as well as ASB series actually had a name library that recognized certain combinations. My biggest gripe is that users trying to make historical rosters can't make "Moises" Alou when "Moises" Sierra is in the game.

12.) Search option: literally I've lost track of multiple players and couldn't find them. A search option by last name would be really handy for all game modes.

13.) Option to make a few new teams available for play besides the 30 we already have. For example, I'd love to be able to recreate the Austin Dingers from the ASB series, or any Golden or Silver era players and teams. Even a few straight up ALL-Star teams would be really cool.

14.) Current gameplay is pretty solid, but I'd like to be able to have a few more options regarding position changes/etc. (ASB 02 was pretty liberal about this, as I could have P Rick Ankiel be a defensive replacement.)

15.) Hidden stances bug me... Rick Ankiel's stance is still hidden??? It's been hidden since about 08...really?

For RTTS I would like to play past 45 and try to pull a Jamie Moyer also it would be kinda nice to be a manager after you retire we should be able to manage in the minors and the majors depending on what team is need of one.
Another thing I would like to see is something similar to NBA 2k's CAL mode it would be great playing as a current player in a mode similar to RTTS only that you are a current MLB player.

Re: My MLB The Show 14 Wishlist

                                1) BETTER TRADE AND FREE AGENT LOGIC. I've seen too many future cornerstone prospects get traded for middle relievers. On the free agency front I've seen too many teams sign players they just don't need. For example I saw the Red Sox sign Cano AND Pedroia to long-term extensions. This part of the game isn't just flawed, it's broken. I want to see 30-team control become unneeded.

                                2) More customization options. I want more options for hair (no long hair options sucks, and more color options would be nice), accessories (just better styles, doesn't even have to be branded apparel).

                                3) More on-field personality. Players are too cookie-cutter. I want laid-back players goofing around some, serious players staying calm, and more emotion all around on pivotal or amazing plays. I also want each player's own style on offense or defense to be noticeable. Hunter Pence shouldn't run or throw like Jason Heyward.

                                4) Tweak the budget system. It sounded amazing before the game released, but it quickly became apparent that it was broken. Basically every team has their budget increase, with only a couple exceptions. The main thing is that more teams need to have their budgets remain unchanged.

                                5) More editable features. Potential and contracts mainly.

                                6) Better on-field realism. Ball and bat boys and security guards would be cool. Also better fan variety and behavior. I hate seeing the same few fan models throughout the stands doing the same canned actions over and over. Having thousands of individual fans doing their own (more realistic) thing would be amazing. Have them actually catch foul balls, fan themselves when it's hot, talk to each other, buy things from vendors, or even doze off in extra innings or slow games.

                                7) Better stat tracking. This has been touched on, so I'll just say that there needs to be more stats recorded and easily accessible.

                                8) Better/more animations. Fielding animations are either too fast or too slow. I hate having Andrelton Simmons feel like he's stuck in mud getting to balls in the hole while other guys can field a backhand, spin, and start a double play in the blink of an eye. Swing animations (especially one-handed) are still pretty goofy looking.

                                9) More RPG features in RTTS. Copy NBA 2K for all I care, they nailed it. I'd love some sort of tournament before the draft to improve your stock and see where you stand. Let us actually see the draft so we can hear our names called. Offseason training would be awesome and let us boost attributes we need to work on before game start. Doing drills with ex-MLB players (baserunning drills with Rickey Henderson, work on velocity with Randy Johnson, improve command with Greg Maddux) would be incredible and memorable. Give us sponsorship deals for items (Rawlings gloves, Under Armour cleats, Sam Bats, etc) that boost certain attributes.

                                10) More options as an owner. Let us renovate or completely rebuild our stadium. Allow us to relocate if another city wants us bad enough. Let us start an entirely new franchise with nice-looking uniforms (even if they're pre-designed), a custom stadium in a nice location (again, even if it's pre-designed), and an actual expansion draft.

I have a lot more I could do, but these are the top 10 things that I think are holding the series back at the moment.
