In fact, I'll wager that there are some out there that would own or play The Show, and that's the only game they own.
Maybe it's because it's Baseball.. Maybe it's the attention to detail, maybe it's because the Show rewards patience over button smashing.
    I dunno.
But I bet that the average age of The Show owner is slightly higher than other games.
(And we're probably higher IQ too, not to mention better looking)
You username and age are so incredibly close to jim416. That's so weird, it's like a blast from the past!

I see a lot of YouTube videos from games with commentary, and I hardly ever hear a 12 year old uploading videos on this game. It sucks that baseball is a "dying sport" in our youth. It better stay around forever!

Just kidding.. But yeah, 1961 would be pretty cool. You'd still have the A's in Kansas City playing in Memorial Stadium; ,OLD Yankee Stadium..I Mean OLD with the short wall in right field. Dodgers would be playing in the Colusuem; Giants Pre Candlestick, Seal Stadium I believe; No divisions; no DH, No Interleague play; Comisky Park, Tiger Staduim,

Just looking.. The Angels played in the Los Angeles Wrigley Field their first season. Isnt that where Home Run Derby was filmed?
Yeah. I remember watching that show. That's the field they used.

It's difficult to pick just one season because it was before my time but I'd have to go with a season from the golden age of New York baseball... Probably a season between 1951 and 1955.

Willie, Mickey, Jackie and the Duke. Pennant races and stickball in the streets.

Choosing one season is like, a like, "dating" just one Victoria Secret model...Son I want em all!!!!!

Just one season, I would choose 1979 because I was so in love with the Pittsburgh Pirates at that time. What a magical run that was.

A great option to have in PS4 would be to allow the Giants and Dodgers to move back East (Customizable divisions anyone?) and play in Ebbetts and the Polo Grounds once again. again, No DH, No Interleague

I'm late to the party but 41 and a lifelong baseball fan. I love The Show and it's the game that pretty much stays in the console 24-7. Been hooked on baseball since Micro League Baseball on my Commodore 64.

As for Jimbo's comment above, I think 14 definitely needs customizable divisions. That would be fantastic!

Re: Does The Show Attract more Mature players?

The Show attracts a lot of older players, but it attracts it's fair share
                  of nut-jobs & cheaters too.

Season recreate pick- 1981 or 1982.

My pick for a pure retro season would be 1977 or 1978.

                    Go Yankees!!!

Nice! I'm at the end of August in my Braves franchise. Currently in a tight division series with Washington and we have a 4 game series with them. That's what I'll be playing.
