Re: Screenshot of MLB 14 The Show on PS4?
It's a delicate balance. A well timed request can sometimes turn out nicely, and excessive bothering can result in the "Braves Ban" (for those who know what I'm talking about)."Life is like baseball, it's the number of times you arrive home safely that counts"Comment

Re: Screenshot of MLB 14 The Show on PS4?
I think MLB 13 The Show on PS3 already looks fantastic but I really hope when we finally do see screenshots of the PS4 version I hope it will be like night and day when comparing it to PS3
I am very impressed with what EA is doing with there sports games on PS4 and Xbox One so I expect the same if not even better results from San Diego Studios.Comment

Re: Screenshot of MLB 14 The Show on PS4?
IMO MLB13 looks so good that just seeing PS4 screenshots wouldn't matter too much... it would probably look almost the same except for improved faces, high res stadium textures and much better outside the stadium environments. IMO you would probably need actual PS4 The Show gameplay footage to really feel the visual impact one would normally feel with a console generation change.Comment

Re: Screenshot of MLB 14 The Show on PS4?
Graphics wise i don't think we need a upgrade
All i ask is add new hairstyles and update them if they change in real life (like Felix Hernandez)
Rip the current commentary team apart and bring in a new team that gels together not in different games and that talk like they do in the other baseball game about a lot of things that happened in the offseason , player career stats against that certain pitcher ect..Comment

Re: Screenshot of MLB 14 The Show on PS4?
Oh how I hope they improve the "outside the stadium".
The minor league parks are horrible. The ones that were new for this season looked like major rush jobs.
The scale of the outside environments are horrible as well. The doors on buildings are like 50ft tall. The cars are huge and absolutely horrible looking.
In fact the outside stadium graphics may be the absolute worst graphics of any game this generation.Comment

Re: Screenshot of MLB 14 The Show on PS4?
I love the game on PS3. It is almost perfect.
Things I think that will be taken to the next level on PS4?
1) full on immersion in franchise mode with deeper stat keeping, career numbers, a preview or monthly show with highlights. Maybe even a this week in baseball style show? Active and far more detailed crowds. An even higher level of detail while playing at the ball park.
2) Matty V, Lyons and Karros are great and now with the new power of the PS4 we can get dynamic commentary and color in franchise mode. I fully expect it to go to the next level.
3) Better AI off the field in te way of trades, lineups, pitcher moves, and overall baseball smarts.
4) even deeper customization for roster makers.
5) even better physics
The game in its current state is a joy for me. It will only get better next gen. No doubt about it. SCEA and The Shows dev teams are top notch and I have zero worries about the series heading into th new PS4 Era.Now Playing on PS5:
CFB 26 Hurricanes/Fresno State Year 2
MLB The Show 25 - 2025 Yankees Year 1
MLB The Show 25 1985 Yankees Year 1
Oblivion Remaster

Speaking of next year . How about the option to open or close stadium roofs . Also would be nice to show a graphic that tells that a player has played on more then one team if traded mid season . Also the graphics are great . But there is some major pixelation towards the outfield walls exp . Detroit and MilwaukeeComment
