The game vs the Cubs where BJ Upton homered to tied the game in the 9th then Justin ends it with a homer http://wapc.mlb.com/play?content_id=...ic_id=47072280 should use Jim Powell's call (WCNN) of Justin's homer.MLB: Atlanta Braves
NCAA: Tennessee Vols
NBA: Memphis Grizzlies
NFL: Tennessee TitansComment

Re: Play by play calls in the menu - MLB 14
Actually there is one I'd like... Unfortunately I'm not sure what team it was.
But someone made an absolutely spectacular diving catch against the Mets about 3 weeks ago. What I remember for sure is that it literally (final out) ended the game, and it happened when the tying run was on base. It was also the CF for sure. He ran towards the LF-CF gap. And whoever the LF was jumped up and down or something after the catch.
I want to say it was the Braves. But I'm not really sure. And... I think it was Justin Turner that had hit the ball.
But if someone has a clip of the call for that catch, that would be sweet. When I get a chance I'll look at the calendar and see if I can definitively figure out the teamComment

Chris Davis's Grand Slam in the 8th inning of the Orioles home opener when the game was tied! Although, come to think of it, I don't remember Gary Thorne being very vocal during itComment

I'm glad you do, because I think they're boring as hell.
I like watching the A's, but play-by-play man Glen Kuiper has nothing on his big brother Duane (Giants announcer) across the bay. I think I'd want to watch more A's games if G. Kuip and Fosse weren't so boring.
I'll take that back, they're not unlikable or anything... they just don't really add much, and their voices aren't as pleasing as some others out there. Their actual call at the end of the game is fine, I guess (like you said).
But like I said, Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow are an excellent commentary team for the Giants. I need to find the television call of the Pagan walk-off, even though it's not the Dave Flemming KNBR radio call that I posted (and would more likely be on the game).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
