I admit I was TOTALLY one of those people, I was listening to a lot of Baseball America radio last preseason, and they swore up and down that the RED SOX were trash this year!
If I go back to past posts, I bet I could find a dozen threads where I was adamant about them NOT MAKING THE PLAYOFFS! And it was a joke they were this good in the game.

Since I am hardly ever wrong, it doesn't bother me to admit when I am

I feel like this is directly aimed at people such as myself, so I have to say this is a smart move by Sony.

I've said many times the only negative of the Show Franchise is that the game can be so great, and you can become so engaged in your Franchise/Career there is never a need to upgrade or even want to start over again.

This was the case with me and the Show09 - Only moving on from a multi-year franchise because my system died and I lost the save file.
And it's happened again now with TheShow12.
My Franchises became my alternate Red Sox reality, and I enjoyed it so much there was no need to move on.

With this move it looks like they'll get more money from me this generation. I just hope this feature can be seamlessly integrated and isn't going to lead to issues each year.
