Tiger Stadium. Gotta have it for home run derby.

Re: 1 thing!
Franchise budget/free agent process that actually makes sense.
There are so many things that screw up the offers and budget room that shouldn't impact it (like having more guys on your 40-man will allow you to offer more money/contracts???)
And piggybacking on ShowTyme's post: not only offensive subs, but defensive also. I hate pinch-hitting for an outfielder with a first baseman or catcher or something and then having to switch them in the top of the next inning -- AFTER they've been announced playing out of position.
It looks stupid.#24Comment

I totally forgot about the defensive subs as well. That is also a great idea as well.Franchise budget/free agent process that actually makes sense.

Re: 1 thing!
I know it's supposed to be "one thing"... but I thought of something that is related to my previous one.
They need to fix free agency. In the time I've played the Show, it's never made any sense.
Players regularly take weird deals for no reason, even when they have better ones on the table. Hell, they'll take the deal they have the third-most interest in over the one with a full-interest bar. And sometimes walk away from one where the bar is FULL.
Also, guys never seem to want long-term deals. I think we've all seen that they actually prefer that when they hit free agency, opting for long-term money rather than trying to hit the market again a second time.
I see it all the time where a guy wants a four-year deal at age 31. Why? Look at the guys who hit free agency this year close to their prime (Cano, Ellsbury, Choo). They want long-term deals, not a three- or four-year contract so they can try to cash-in again at 35... which they WON'T because of the regression system.
Guys that are older would want shorter term deals (one- or two-year pacts) with higher per-year value, especially coming off injuries or down years.
And the same goes for the qualifying offers. If they think they can get a real contract (a guy like Granderson or Choo), they're going to decline the qualifying offer. But in the game they seem to take it quite often because it's a big dollar amount. Makes no sense.#24Comment

I personally would just like to see a better broadcast fielding cam. It's been the same since the 2010 version and IMO it's pretty flawed and could be re-worked. Re: 1 thing!
How about the ability to upload a photo (current, historical, ME, etc.) of anyone and have the ps4 computer generate the face for in game use? Also like the idea of inputting stats and having the system assign attributes based on stat input!!!! ROSTER CREATION TOOLS!!!

Re: 1 thing!
Wouldn't mind seeing in Franchise mode when making a trade if we can do a PTBNL or Cash considerations. Idk if MLB allows that or not, but worth a shot. Would be cool to see.Comment

Re: 1 thing!
This is actually the one thing they could try to implement that would add an incredible amount of realism to the games. As good a job as the roster creators do you can't come close to an actual photo with the current creator. How about the ability to upload a photo (current, historical, ME, etc.) of anyone and have the ps4 computer generate the face for in game use? They'll never allow anyone to upload photos of any player in any time period. It's a likeness issue.Comment

Re: 1 thing!
Give me the ability to start my RTTS Player in single A. I do remember in the past you actually started single A, if I remember correctly.

Re: 1 thing!
Along those lines, I'd like to see a more complete, universal ratings scale for player attributes, particularly with respect to the sim engine. As it stands now, a 99 contact rating will generate an array of averages with the mean about .305 (did some checking on this). This is too low, IMO. I feel like perfect ratings should result in something much higher, like .375 or somewhere around there. Likewise, a power rating of 1 will produce too many home runs in the sim engine. How about the ability to upload a photo (current, historical, ME, etc.) of anyone and have the ps4 computer generate the face for in game use? Makes it more difficult for folks to produce historical rosters with accurate player traits. Creating a Wade Boggs or Tony Gwynn just doesn't work.Comment
