What's the longest home run you've hit

What's longest bomb you've hit in mlb 13? The longest one I hit was with buster posey at 468 ft. I also remember one by Evan longoria of 454. How about you guys.

I hit one 490 with Stanton. A little right of dead center at Chase. Easily the furthest hit ball I've had.

Nice! I've done 488 with Justin Upton. I wonder if it's possible to go 500+ because I've never seen it. Not even in the Home Run Derby.

The closest I've got is 498 in HRD. I'd love to see if 500 is possible.

495 is Homerun Derby with Mike Morse (as a Ray)


And I think Ive hit a few 430-450's, but for some reason most of my HRs are line shots and not the towering variety.

This isn't really about my longest home run but could be the longest OUT I've ever encountered. I was playing Diamond Dynasty and hosted a game at Polo Grounds. In the bottom of the 9th I was down by 3 runs. My first two batters drew walks. After two outs the next batter came up and smoked one to dead center. If I had pulled it a little more it probably would have landed half way up the clubhouse stairs which I think might be around 450-460 ft. Instead, the center fielder caught the ball end the game. I love playing at the Polo Grounds!

I hit one 470 with Napoli in the HR Derby.

In regular games, my longest is around 440. I think it was with Bryce Harper.

Man I hope next years game will give us a home run distance for EVERY bomb we hit. I don't know about you guys, but my game sometimes doesn't give me a home run distance notification and it frustrates me. Last night I hit a bomb with Giancarlo Stanton at Coors Field that landed out near where the real world Hunter Pence hit his 476 ft shot this season and the didn't give me a distance. THEY FORCED ME TO USE MY IMAGINATION haha.

The longest home run I've ever hit in MLB 13 The Show was a 498 foot home run with Adam Dunn in Citizens Bank Park in a home run derby (no it was not as a White Sox player, as the primary DH (plays left field in National League parks, not first base, for a Yankee franchise that I have). In that same home run derby I had Carlos Santana in it too, (not as an Indian, but as the starting catcher for that same Yankee franchise I have) They both were in the final round, I think Carlos Santana won. Why Adam Dunn does not play 1st base for me in that Yankees franchise when playing National League parks? It's because my everyday 1st baseman in that Yankees franchise is a power hitting 1st baseman named Jack Scruggs, I got him in a Rule 5 Draft from the Texas Rangers.

You spend a lot of time explaining something that wasn't at all necessary since it was in a homerun derby, the position any of these guys plays is irrelevant.

I am hoping that, at some point, The Show will have "tape measure shots" - those occasional upper deck or further homeruns that sometimes happen. It doesn't seem like there are enough long homeruns in the game. I don't want to see it overdone, but some tape measure homeruns would be nice.

Yes. I hope so as well. I would love to see balls land in more variety of levels. Like for instance you can't hit "upper deck" shots in ballparks no matter how hard you think you hit the ball. Like the Rogers Center. Ball doesn't go over the second deck....ever. Sort of gives it that canned animation feel.
