Re: Best Skyline in the Majors

My wife and myself actually were inducted into Cooperstown thru STAT travel (sorry shameless plug) for having seen a game in every major league city this past summer. Took 15 years to achieve this and Petco and Target have been built sine we visited those parks. Baseball is truly unique in such this very thread would not exist in any other sport.
PNC is still my favorite skyline, but there are great backdrops in most all parks. All of the previous mentioned and others like the warehouse in Baltimore. We always got plenty of time to venture the ballparks and some great views got to be accessed in the upper decks of a lot of parks. The Capitol can only be seen high up in Washington. The Bay Bridge in S.F. and AT&T is the only park in the majors were the Oakland Co. light standards can be seen when lit for an A's game. Little Havanna can be seen out the windows of Marlins Park. They all have thier delights that stand out.Wrigley is a giant neighborhood block party 4 hrs before any game, and I got mesmerized watching the ivy do its own version of the wave on a breezy day.
If I had to choose the worst for current parks that would be the Trop. But its my hometown park and its head and shoulders above the Metrodome. Oakland for the outdoor parks but the fans were great and hey,its baseball for goodness sakes. Put a ballgame in an outhouse and I'll watch

PNC park and Target field have my vote, first time I saw a picture of Target field's skyline I thought it was a painting it looks that unreal.

I've lived next to Target Field since it's construction. It's got a gorgeous skyline... the biggest problem is that fans have to endure the team on the field in order to see it.
