Re: Worst Team to Rebuild?
Milwaukee hands down. They have NOTHING in their system at the moment and current 25 man roster is average at best. Their top prospect would be left off many team's top 10 prospect list.
All the crap teams at the MLB level currently have solid prospects on the rise; Mets, Astros, Miami, Cubs, etc.PSN: ptrickelComment

Re: Worst Team to Rebuild?
Good question. I'm an NL guy and in the past I've used the Pirates because they were a project to rebuild and they play in a park which leans toward pitcher friendly which fits the style of team I like to build.
Now wouldn't you know it with the ability to save franchise in future versions of the game, the Pirates are finally a good team. If I don't use the Pirates It will be between the Marlins and Padres, both struggling in pitcher friendly parks.≡Comment

Re: Worst Team to Rebuild?
i have tried a lot of teams and out of them all the Brewers, even with a average budget r the hardest team. Specially if u treat Braun with the suspension and Hart being out all year. They have no "A" prospects, no pitching and that division is so tough now with the Pirates being solid.
The Marlins could be the toughest in the sense of u having to look at that thing they call a ballpark tho...
2014 is gonna b tough to find this tough. I wish we could see what each teams payroll will be!Comment

Re: Worst Team to Rebuild?
It's really hard to see why people are listing the Padres. Yes, the big league ballclub is probably mediocre at best. When it comes to the minor leagues, all their high level pitchers and Rymer Liriano will be question marks due to the time they missed last season from injuries, but they still have some good prospects in the Class-A level and some minor league depth.
Rebuilding should be cake if you know what your doing with the Padres. Trade Benoit, Street, Quentin, Headley, etc. and you should be loaded in no time.Comment

Re: Worst Team to Rebuild?
Astros have plenty of minor league talent at least. White Sox have probably the worst system in baseball. At least bottom 5.PSN: Maserati_Bryan17Comment

Never won a world series
Minor leagues are meaningless in this game.
Finished 10 games below .500 in 2013
With the self imposed trade restriction I use they would be a challenge. I've always used the Pirates in the past they are less of a challenge now. I may end up using Miami but the Padres would be a challenge.≡Comment

How are minor leagues meaningless when this is about rebuilding? I guess each to their own.Comment

Re: Worst Team to Rebuild?
According to that list...
LA $216 million
SF $142 million
Arizona $90 million
Colorado $75 million
SD $71 million
My comment about minor leagues being meaningless was in relation to real life minor leagues vs the random generated minor league rosters in the show. Asserting SD is easy to rebuild because they have a strong minor league system means nothing in this game because those players are replaced by random players in the game. I'm not complaining but that's a fact.≡Comment
