I am more than likely going to run with the Indians to start off. My first action is going to be to help sure up the bullpen and find a solid back end starter, who is hopefully on the roster already.

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
Well I'm going to roll with my White Sox and try to keep them from being absolutely horrible these next few seasons. Since Chris Sale is already locked up to an extension, I think the only thing I really can do is wheel and deal a little bit and try to get some young players with potential. Expecting to win now with the roster the Sox have is a little out of range so we'll have to bide our time. Building up our pitching staff is going to be the first thing I really try to take care of, but I don't think we're really solid at any position so I'm not going to be afraid to throw some money around.Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
I'll be using the team I support, the Boston Red Sox, once the full minor league roster is released.
My first moves:
If possible, extending Lester's contract early. I'm not sure if it's possible to do in-season extensions but if so, then that's one of my first moves.
Making JBJ my starting centre fielder. I was rooting for him to win the CF battle in real life because he's so damn likeable. It's just about set in my mind that he'll be my CF.
Start looking for a potential power hitter to play DH once Ortiz retires. A player like Ortiz comes but once in a generation but a player who could maybe give me half the production Ortiz gives the Sox would be cool.
Get some of the farm system products up to the majors quickly...AJ and Ross are old, Vazquez looks good so I'd like to have him up. A lot of good arms too to replace Lackey, Peavy, Koji etc when they retire.
I'm pumped for the Show and I'm looking forward to getting going with my Sox franchise. It should be very fun.

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
Well i have decided to take on the NL for a change and get away from the really beefed up AL west for a while. I have Narrowed my field of vision to two teams. The Miami Marlins and the San Diego Padres.
My first thing will be to play five games with each to find out what team i will actually be using this year. i like both for many various reasons.."Baseball is life, without Baseball life itself ceases to exist." - Ken SpragueComment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
Every year I'm torn between my hometown Dodgers and the A's, as I lived in NoCal during their championship years as a young kid. I have the most horrible time committing to one from the get-g0. Suggestions?Comment

I'll be using my New York Mets in Franchise mode once the OSFM roster is out. Probably trade Lucas Duda in ST and sign Stephen Drew.Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
Probably go with the Giants and start building through the draft and try to trade for a decent left fielder (Nava comes to mind off the top of my head for a cheapish filler).Super XV: Crusaders
ITM Cup: Canterbury
MLB: New York Mets
Bundesliga: FC Schalke 04Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
I'm probably in the minority when it comes to never playing a season with your favorite ball club. I'm a huge Mets fan, but after years of playing with them and watching almost every game, I just like to switch it up when it comes to MLB the Show.
When I end up picking up the game, I plan on using either the Dodgers or a lowly ranked club.Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
If/when I'm finally able to pick up a copy of the game, I'll do a Braves franchise. My first step would be to fill the gaping void at 3B. Either by acquiring Headley/Olt/Zimmerman by trade or by creating a player.
My other option is the Dodgers. First move there would be trading one of the four outfielders, preferably Ethier, to fix the Dodgers' gaping void at 3B.Comment
