I'll be checking the Orioles roster first thing when I put in the Show. I'll look at batting stances and pitching motions and ratings, and then I'll do the same with the Phillies. I'll probably do that with a few other times or specific players, anyone that comes to mind at the time really. Afterwards, I'll check out the next-gen gameplay that comes with it with the O's

If Umpires wear long sleeve in cold games, and if baserunners wear batting gloves.

Still kills me these 2 things have not been addressed.

I like to peruse the free agent list & see what kind of team I can cobble & piece together.
I also checkout the trophy list.

I always check to see what improvements have been made to Busch Stadium.

I always go to the editor to see what's new.. Then in years past before doing OSFM I would edit the stances/motions and gear of all the mets players. Now what I'll do is go right to working on the Mets OSFM. So it will be the edit player section.

I always check the ratings first, and that includes sorting by potential for some players. There are a few things I want to see, such as if Posey will again have more potential than Mike Trout.

I always check the ratings first, and that includes sorting by potential for some players. There are a few things I want to see, such as if Posey will again have more potential than Mike Trout.

While I have nothing against Trout (AT ALL) u cannot hate on Posey having more potential, at least on The Show 13. He did just come off a MVP and WS Title....I mean what 1 player has single handly has had more impact on a organization in the last 5-10 years then him? The Giants were very mediocre until he fell into our laps and has been the main reason for our 2 titles in the last 4 seasons....while having a horrible injury in between the two.

Dont get me wrong...Trout has the most upside and talent anyone has probably ever seen....but last year u could not argue Posey being the best

Posey had just one year similar to Trout, similar and I wouldn't say better. look, it's not even close as far as I'm concerned.

I'll check stadiums to see if roofs have options for open or closed(PS4 version). Then i'll start editing equipment for all players.

The color of the Jays uniforms which i will notice in my first quick game anyways

lol. The most annoyingly funny complaint by me(and a number of others) regarding the Jays in past 2 seasons(MLB12 could've gotten pass since it was in video game before it was used in real life).

Sorta funny though considering cover boy for Canada was wearing that jersey and they still got color wrong.

But even though I'm not getting game,I wanna see the jerseys in 2014(especially on PS4) not to mention I wanna see if the stadium errors that were fixed in MLB13 remain fixed in MLB14(I know it seems like a strange thing to say,but in the past there has been times where something was fixed one year,but the following year it went back to same problem). I also want to see the Jays OF with the restaurant windows gone.

I'll be checking player behavior/intelligence and how it keeps with the ratings of the players.

Stuff like the super discipline hitters get on occasion, very few 4 or 5 pitch walks, even from very wild pitchers, how much "confidence" impacts things, fielder and base running decision making, etc.

Also, I'll be hoping that the PCI result and the batted ball (or lack of) is more steady/consistent. Things like swinging under the ball but still hitting a chopper - on Timing, guys looking in left field for pitches out of the blue (i.e. not related to what he's been shown - just up and looking a foot out of zone for whatever reason.

Defensively - things like liners that are at fielders less often, fielders that either "know" when to speed up the throwing motion (maybe based on Fielding rating) or a way for the user to do it, even with just button throwing (maybe a long pre-loaded hold speeds throwing motion at the risk of wildness, etc). Little things that are just annoying, but can change a ballgame.
