Its not just graphics, thew OS multi-tasks fast (Xmb on ps3 is slow as hell, expecially when looking sat trophies), controller is ten times better, mutil-use rmessaging, party chat, etc.. After having ps4 I hate going back to the ps3.

Our lead graphics programmer just cracked the code on our PS4 lighting engine about an hour ago. When I show you again it's going to look better. I might even do a comparison of the two.

Can't wait to show you guys this man now I have to re-take all the screen shots I took already for Thursday.

Nobody is trashing the PS3. It's simply just been pushed to the max and not as appealing anymore with a better system out for most people. As HustlinOwl said, it's 10 year old hardware. If you don't want to buy it though then obviously that's your choice. I know one reason I bought mine early though is because I don't anticipate a price drop for a long time. The way I see it is if some of the games now don't look appealing then don't buy them.

I have the feeling that the people who think the PS4 graphics aren't a big leap over PS3 are going to be in a little shock tomorrow. This is the first sports game for Next Gen that had a full year to develop. Judging what The Show could possibly look like by the graphics of FIFA and Madden is quite possibly the worst thing to do. It's two completely different developers and two completely different timing of the games release.

I honestly think the close ups of MLBTS 13 for PS3 were just as good as close ups for FIFA 14 for PS4. yeah, so I'm excited for MLBTS 14 for PS4.

Fifa and BF aren't that big of a leap, but Killzone, BF, NBA 2K14 are and by a wide margin.

I understand the excitement of PS4 version of MLB 14, however I will say Owning a PS4 since launch, the 4 games Ive played are definitely NOT jaw dropping however they are better. The big thing I noticed was the games IN MOTION looked a lot better, (60fps all around) Im not overly excited about seeing MLB 14 screens for this reason. Im sure overall it will still look great and considering its a Sony first party I have tons of faith in the team knowing how to master their machine best.
SCEA,Naughty Dog, they always seem to outdo everyone.
But I dunno temper expectations I'd say, at least until we see HD video

So I thought this was kind of interesting (might be nothing at all) T.J. Lauerman(thesportsgamer) tweeted to the MLB the show page and in the comments section another game critic mentioned something about some info leaks today. Thought it was interesting.
