Re: PS Nation - MLB 14 The Show Hands-On Report (PS3/PS4)
In person, I'm actually not a jerk. Really! I know that, in the grand scheme, a game releasing in May instead of March is not a big deal, and you're right, it probably will lead to a better product. But you are right about the passionate part. I'm 35, and The Show is the one game that can still make me feel like a kid. Kind of silly, but true. No more negative posts from me today, guys.

PSNation-
I don't remember there being much detail given regarding actual gameplay. Could you give information or a run down of how the gameplay (ball-physics, differences in "feel" from 13-14, specific camera angles, etc.) has been improved or changed in your opinion?Comment

One positive point of a layer release, I suppose, is that out of the box rosters should be pretty accurate, since some of the major rookies will have already played.

Re: PS Nation - MLB 14 The Show Hands-On Report (PS3/PS4)
So we waited this long for screenshots and a few new features in the game... All while finding out that the game won't be release until possibly late May.
I guess I fail to see the excitement here. I'll be picking it up day 1, but where's the actual material here?Comment

That's a good question/statement. I hope he is in the PS4 version at least. They should have enough time to scan him and get him in the game. (Hopefully)Comment

Re: PS Nation - MLB 14 The Show Hands-On Report (PS3/PS4)
Quick count seems like a good thing to have, but I don't see myself ever using that mode. I always like to start counts at 0-0 to get the full game experience. Games for me usually take 40-50 mins and I'm fine with it. The fast play makes games last like 20-30 mins and that still had the 0-0 counts.
But I cans see which some people would want to have quick count in games.
And regarding PS3...What new things have been added to it?Comment

Re: PS Nation - MLB 14 The Show Hands-On Report (PS3/PS4)
I was wondering the same thing. Maybe this mean they built the 30 stadiums from scratch and will just port over the minor leagues and classic stadiums. I hope this is the case because I'm hoping classic stadiums will be in the ps4 version.Comment
