No offense as a fan of the series, why are we getting a PS3 trailer, when it doesn't look any different.

And they know we were really hoping for a PS4 trailer or footage. No one cares about the PS3 version, it's obvious it was going to be a slim difference. All the hype leading to this trailer and showing footage, they know their fans wanted PS4.

The ps3 version comes out a whole month before the ps4 version, so obviouly ps3 trailers will come out first.

Because it's day one of getting info. PS4 game doesn't come out till May. They still have plenty of time to get everyone excited.

This isn't aimed at you but I find it kinda funny that people get mad at EA for the "hype train" and they get mad at SCEA for the "not enough hype train"

If the PS3 release date is a month later than usual, does that mean the rosters will be locked in a month later than usual? Does anybody know or would it just be speculation? Just wondering considering the amount of big name free agents that are still unsigned, and the recent signing of AJ Burnett.

Key word being "May' with no set date don't expect it to still be May, they didn't give a correct date for a reason, its because they are still not sure if it's even going to be done by May.


Thank god for cross platform I reckon having the PS3 version for 2 months will be worth it

Also it's been stated a billion times that SCEA has completely maxed out the PS3. If there was any way they could improve the graphics, they would because these guys never stop trying to improve the franchise. Don't expect any major improvements to the PS3 graphics wise anymore. Also to say "no one cares about the PS3 version" is foolish, because a lot of people can't afford the PS4 at the moment, like myself (at least until late summer). I still think the PS3 looks phenomenol.

If you look at facts and past history whenever a company doesn't make a correct stamped date it means they are not ready and there is doubt, that's why they have just said May, they have obviously not completed the ps4 version yet, have a look at all the PS4 games that have been delayed already, watch Dogs for example never had a set date, it's never a good sign when you see May or June or TBA

If you look at facts and past history whenever a company doesn't make a correct stamped date it means they are not ready and there is doubt, that's why they have just said May, they have obviously not completed the ps4 version yet, have a look at all the PS4 games that have been delayed already, watch Dogs for example never had a set date, it's never a good sign when you see May or June or TBA

That could mean that they are hoping for, say, May 6th but they might have to get a few more weeks to go gold or get approval for release (or maybe something with servers), so the 27th is always a possibility. I think getting this close to release though, if they can't get it out in June it might be better to stamp something else in the game (All Star Edition, World Series Edition, etc.) and release it later.

I'm guessing they are right on schedule, though. They might even be ready for an April release, but to get PS3 and Vita sales across as planned they just want to buy themselves a month and then use it to ensure the PS4 version is the polished product they planned on it to be.

I wouldn't read too much into there being no actual release date. If it said "Spring" or "Q2 2014," I can see what you mean. Watch Dogs is certainly concerning at this moment.
