Wow at all the improvements even with the PS3 version. Editable potential is huge, now if a guy is a bust you can change his potential in you chise, or vice versa if a kid comes out of nowhere to be a good player.

This is going to make it extremely hard for me to pass up this years version, but I still plan on trying to wait it out

MLB- Reds/ and whoever is playing the Cubs
    NBA- Pacers

These two are by far my favorite part of the fact sheet.
        NHL: Chicago Blackhawks
        NFL: Kansas City Chiefs
        MLB: Kansas City Royals
        NCAA: Kansas Jayhawks

I'm glad Dynamic Difficulty got in! Chris and I talked a little about this at last year's CD but the description is a little vague.

Ultimately, I was hoping that this would ultimately end up being a feature that all players could use (meaning that the game could even recommend or automatically move a player up to Legend Difficulty).

Is this feature capped at a certain Difficulty level at all or could it feasibly progress players all the way up the Difficulty ladder?

Re: MLB 14 The Show Fact Sheet (PS Vita, PS3, PS4)

These are my favorite parts of the new game.

Year-to-Year Saves (All platforms) - For the first time in franchise history, saves can be carried over from MLB 14 to future releases of The Show, meaning that gamers won't have to worry about starting their Franchise or Road to the Show seasons over in years to come.

Franchise Improvements (PS3 & PS4 Only) - Efforts continue to improve the accessibility of Franchise mode. A new notification system, which keeps the user more connected to their organization and the league, serves as an “Assistant GM” and will make sure critical information is more immediately provided and more readily accessible. Also refined is the logic that helps the multi-season cycle of Franchise mode and all of the stats and developments therein resemble real life as closely as possible. Other additions include a player search and the ability to hire and fire coaches during the regular season.

True Broadcast Presentations (PS3 & PS4 Only) - The Show’s presentation crew has taken on a tall task for MLB 14: streamlining the game while enhancing the reality and increasing the variety of the experience. Pace of play is a focal point for the team as we strive to immerse the user in an even more engaging simulation. Heavy emphasis has also been placed on the stadium environment to feature the upgraded crowd actors, jumbotrons, LED boards, dugouts, specific stadium audio and a more engaged, responsive and unique crowd.

-On the commentary side, the three-man booth of Matt Vasgersian, Eric Karros and Steve Lyons return for their second season together. This year's title will emphasize the three announcers in a more interactive, conversational style, yet will also continue to mine the world of baseball to find intelligent, timely and compelling commentary concerning today's teams and players. The overall goal is for the game to get deeper, and for the announcers to better adapt to changing game conditions -- including rising the enthusiasm level when the situation dictates.

MLB 14 The Show includes over 40 more enhancements, new features, and improvements!
New dynamic gameplay cameras for batting and fielding

Sorry if this is a dumb question as I've taken a couple years away from the show, but have they incorporated any way to link or compare RTTS characters with friends? Like, if my friends have a player, is there any way to compare stats or progress with mine? Can they be playing in same league?

Everything looks great, I hope they really improved base running animations because they always looked really stiff to me and then they would slow down really fast when approaching a base and would rarely turn and look to see if they could advance. I am TOO pumped for this game!!

You can't play in the same league, but yes, RTTS 'leaderboards' were introduced last year.

Sounds like a sliding scale based on your performance, I don't think it would be capped. It should be really good at finding a home for the people who were between difficulties.

I guess I'm missing out on something, but what's so great about a Player Search feature? Is this for people multiple years into a franchise who want to know where a player ended up? I have never considered the idea of a player search.

                              Yeah,
It will make the game more realistic! There are a bunch of left handed infielders in the major leagues.

Yeah I played 2B in a military league. Wasn't difficult but obviously the talent is lacking.
