Re: MLB 14 The Show Video Interview with Ramone Russell
THIS sounds fun. I want this in 2015 lol. The lobby could just match RTTS players from each position and create evenly matched teams, either pick a random ballpark or have one player, chosen at random, get to pick the ballpark.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Video Interview with Ramone Russell
I get what you're saying, but I'm confindent that the dev team would never let any one, or set of features risk delaying a game. They would move resources around, so resources spent on one feature might be at a cost of another. They've been doing this for a long time and they know what they can and can't do within a budget/time frame.Last edited by MrOldboy; 03-23-2014, 12:32 AM.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Video Interview with Ramone Russell
Good interview with some nice tidbits. Definitely excited about create-a-ballpark, I'm hoping they will give us something similar to what The Golf Club will be doing; Giving us all the tools to be able to create/edit anything and everything. Do I want Tal's Hill-like mound in all three OF spots? Probably not, but it would be cool to have the option for it.Comment

They don't have license for legends? They're out of the league they had them 12 & all before? Madden & 2k have them. They don't have license for milb thoughComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Video Interview with Ramone Russell
What I am saying isn't directed toward you, I am just using your post because I agree with it.
But yes, far too much time was spent on it. When we are given all the tools to create legends, there really is not much need for them to spend time and resources on doing it. I would absolutely love if one day they add an entire classic aspect to the game (refer to the thread on how The Show can embrace baseball's history), but for now it just isn't necessary. And especially not once we can create ballparks.
If we are given the tools, I would prefer they spend time on other aspects that improve the game at its core. It also gives us the opportunity to be creative and provides a lot of customization we may not get otherwise. Once they hit stride on the PS4, I think we will see a lot more customization across the board.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Video Interview with Ramone Russell
Excellent interview by Franchise play. Ramone was not cocky, boastful with his answers in the interview. He gave his honest and real assessment of what we should expect for the PS3 & PS4 this year. And how they plan to improve on their product in the future. I called it, "show a little thigh and take it back". I am all in with what SCEA is doing with this baseball video game product. God willing I am buying it every year again and again. Like ground hog's day...Comment

Do you mean something like NBA 2k did with The Park? Where you can walk around to different fields and join a pick-up game, or do an official legit game? I doubt this is in this year, but if online works smoothly this would be a lot of fun.
Absolutely or just with your friends playing a cpu or somethingComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Video Interview with Ramone Russell
Anything that gives me hope for create a team (Create a Ballpark) is great!
And no Diamond Dynasty doesn't count as create a team.
Great interview could've done without the annoying people in the background thoughComment

Re: Interview With Ramone Russell
It has potential to be a great feature if combined with the ability to relocate or at least rename a franchise with a new logo, sort of an owner mode. The ability to create a logo already exists in diamond dynasty.≡Comment
