Re: MLB The Show 14 Questions and Answers Thread

Thought about another issue in the MLB 13 game and wondering if it has been addressed in MLB 14. I was thinking of starting my own thread, but to avoid the "Thread Nazis", I better ask it here.

Anyway, you know the invisible player problem in MLB 13. It happens at random times in the game when all of a sudden one of the fielders turns into the "Invisible Man". The player can still field the ball and the bug can easily be reset simply by entering into the "Replay" screen. Anyway for anyone who has an early release of MLB 14, have you seen the "Invisible Man" in the game or is this something that might have been fixed this season?

I hope it isn't fixed. It happened only rarely and it really cracked up me when the catcher was the invisible player... T.K. T.K.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 14 Questions and Answers Thread

I just compared slow-motion Hernandez and Price to these videos:

 Price: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJ9h-9O91E8

 Hernandez: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGwzJKuEi0U

And while they're not perfect – for instance, Price looks like he's starting out with his body facing the 1st baseman in the game, where it looks like he's facing home to begin with in the video; Hernandez doesn't have quite nearly as much head movement in the game as he does in the video – they look pretty good to my eye.Comment

Awesome! So in this year's game Price does NOT bring his hands over his head during his windup? Thanks for the reply!I just compared slow-motion Hernandez and Price to these videos:

I'd need to double-check, but I don't think he did.

I played a CPU vs CPU exhibition game with Quick Counts. It doesn't look like you can save exhibition games.Comment

open schedule can play any gameOriginally posted by Wilk39Ah. I just wanted to know what all options you had when you set up the league. What I'm really interested in is how the schedule works? Can you play any game on your schedule? Do you have to wait for your buddy to play a game before you can move on to the next game?Comment

Agreed. I remember last year someone posted a video on YouTube. It's just nice to see that every year they update player's batting stances and pitching styles. I mean that's what makes baseball really unique. Am I right?Comment

Re: MLB The Show 14 Questions and Answers Thread

When setting up an exhibition game, what are the time and weather settings? Is it still Day/Night and Sunny/Partly Cloudy/Overcast/Rain, or are there more possibilities? More specifically actual game times, like 1:30, 4:15, 7:30, and 8:00?

That's one thing I wish they changed; the Day/Night thing is pretty plain and dull.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 14 Questions and Answers Thread

Is this 100% factual? If so, that is a huge and underrated feature as no one wants wait on your commish to "advance" the league and whatnot. BTW, I'm not doubting you Hustlin, just asking the question.Comment

yes a couple different way to setup scheduling, flex(auto) can set an amount of games to play in a certain amount of days or flex(manual) where commish can advance when needed or as stated open where any game on entire schedule can be playedComment

Not that I can see...? You can set up a playoff though, which I guess would functionally be the same thing.

Nope. Day/Night. Clear/Cloudy/Overcast/Rain.When setting up an exhibition game, what are the time and weather settings?
