I have just not had time to get into 14 yet. The game has always had one tiny peeve and that being nearly every time the first baseman delaying before throwing the ball around the horn. I know, I know, a very petty peeve, but a peeve nonetheless.

Is it smoother in 14? The answer to this question will not prevent me from playing the game, just curious. Thanks.

I think it's a decision by "design". The 1B player lingers a bit when there is a 99.9% chance for the out at 1st base. I think I have seen it many times irl too.

For those using QC, are you seeing an issue with pitch#s being abnormally high? Someone posted in the impressions thread that pretty much every game has pitchers hitting 100+ pitches by the 5th inning

I was thinking about this, since it is an online mode check your online settings. If you have it turned on maybe then you will get the prompt for QC.

I have not seen this as of yet. Last night the CPU went to about the 8th inning at around 112 pitches. If I recall correctly my pitcher made it to the 7th inning.

Yes indeed. It might be there the option. If I remember well I left the online options on Default and the QC option was set on "Any". I'll check it later (when the kids go to sleep...).

Looking for help


Am hitting using zone analog. You can bring up power swing (smaller target) by pressing square before pitch is thrown, but i'vge only done this once and hit a home run.


Problem is using the standard target i've only hit one home run in five game, and the cpu has hit none in that time (despite me playing on all star with contact sliders on 6, power on 5 and solid hits on 4 - both both human and cpu)


Any help/suggestions?


In previous years using power swing was unnecessary (actually it made the game too easy) anyone discovered whether it's the same this year?

Is it worth forcing 1080p, or is it the same situation as the last few years?

maybe im just missing something somewhere, but when you have a relief pitcher warming up, is there any way to bring him in while you have QC on without it being in the middle of an at-bat?

Seems really weird bringing a guy in with a 2-1 count
