Batting order changes after spring training

I have turned off all of the auto modes in the mode section but the CPU still changes my batting order after leaving spring break. How do I avoid this.

Assuming it's like previous year's games, you have to make sure to get your roster down to 25 by the end of the last spring training game for the lineup to stick.

Didn't know about that one, but the one I recall being annoying was the batting order not sticking for simulated games. Any word if that made it into the game this year?

Thank you SCEA, for adopting my ideas for a Playoff feature and eventually an 'online franchise'. No credit needed to be given... I am just happy you are working towards it...

As far as I remember, the batting order was only changed as it would realistically on a day to day basis. Even without injuries or L/R splits, no team would ever have the same batting order for 162 games.

        So, in a word, hopefully.

If you demote the proper amount of players.
..then do your lineups .....they shouldnt change.

I am not sure if it still does this in MLB 14, but prior to buying the new game earlier this week, I was toying with the idea of using a modified OSFM roster set inside of MLB 13 and playing that this year. During Spring Training I had set the line ups for all 30 teams using 40 man rosters. Then after the last Spring Training games had ended but before I had advanced to the Regular Season, I cut all the teams down to the 25 man rosters and made sure the lineups were the way I wanted them. However as soon as I advanced to the regular season MLB 13 reordered all the lineups again.

So the other day when I picked up MLB 14, I advanced to the Regular Season with 25 men on each team but only modified the lineups after I advanced into the Regular Season. I didn't want to waste time doing the lineups twice if MLB 14 was going to do the same thing MLB 13 did to me.
