Here is the website I use for 30 man control for osfm rosters when the drop. You can setup each team with exact opening day roster and which guys that are on the DL for opening day.

Yes you can primarily control as many teams you want. Follow that link on post #4 and follow directions about creating two profiles (one HUM and one CPU).

And you can play any and all games for any team at anytime without messing up settings.

thanks for letting me know. now all i need is the osfm rosters and i will be ready to go. been doing nothing but road to the show right now. last year i went and did the rosters for all the teams myself (got about 5000 downloads off of it). this year i just didn't have the time or patience. plus osfm does such a better job.

I'm having the same issue. I would like to use 30 team control, but can't seem to find a way to create a second profile and assign it to the other 29 teams.

When you're in your franchise go to the screen where you change settings/sliders and you'll notice that there is a bar at the bottom-middle that'll say "experienced" or "beginner" or whatever you named your profile. To the right of that there's a menu that allows you to set the profile as default or create/rename ones. There you can make a new one, change the settings and team associations, etc and rename it.

Hope that all makes sense. It's harder to explain that it actually is to do lol.

Is there any way to have the CPU propose trades on their own but require the user to accept them in order for them to be completed?

                Thanks

Yes...you may leave cpu trades on but since you have 30 team control you can "decline" a trade offee for a team. You will have to check pending transactions and under trades. Do this literally every calendar day. When you see a trade proposal on there you can view it and from there decline or accept the offer.

You may also make realistic trades yourself or trades that occur irl with 30 team control. I plan to make trades starting July 1st based off division standings to make it realistic and more enjoyable for me. That's the best part of 30 team control...you can make it as enjoyable as you feel need to for your experience

I'll make sure to experiment with this before OSFM. And I'm assuming you have instant trades off?

Yes I do...but idk if that makes a difference with cpu trades. I'd have to test that.

It's fast a super easy to do.

You can have as much or as little control as you want. It is a highly user friendly way to run a 30 team franchise.

                        Some guys control everything.

Some guys like me....just watch the trades and let the CPU do the rest for the other 29 teams.

I like to focus on running my one team.

Now......for season mode when I play a clasic roster season replay. I control the 40 man rosters, waivers, and lineups for every single team as most of the time these are only 25 man rosters and I don't want to see modern day free agents signed in a classic season replay. So my season mode profile differs from the CPU Cranchise mode profile.

When you get the game....it will become crystal clear.

Sorry if this is a dumb question - this is my first time using the PS3 and the show.

When you first start your franchise you can select one or all teams, to do this for example, I would pick the team I want to be and set them to experienced, then would I select the rest of the teams and put them on beginner to have 2 seperate profiles?

I want to do this like you Armor and just have control over the trades so that there isn't any unrealistic trades (in a sim the Pirates got Albert Pujols for a package around Ike Davis... not realistic). I'm just trying to figure out how to do this.

Could anyone give me a step by step? Again I'm sorry for being a PS3 newb.

                        Thanks!

Totte, thanks for the link. I've read that thread before and was still confused haha... Maybe there's no helping me.

They seem to be controlling all roster moves for every team, which I thought could get a little confusing and time consuming, so I was just looking to make sure I had control over trades. Is there a simple way to just control the trading and let the computer handle the rest?

checking the transactions page every day is as simple as you gunna get...as long as you set everything to auto that you want the CPU to handle

Yeah put everything on auto for your CPU profile that's assigned to all other 29 teams than your own.

Scroll through every team on the transactions screen daily during the season to accept or reject trade proposals. (In some cases I edit them a bit to make it more fair)
