Just played against the Rockies and Chacin had a no hitter after 6 innings. I only got 3 hits total, Chavin pitched 8ip giving up 1er. He just reached the 100 pitch count shortly before being pulled in the 9th when I scored my only run.

QC was definitely tweaked and much better managing pitch counts. I only counted maybe 8 full counts to start an AB all game. Lots of 1-1 and 2-1 counts. Much much better! Still gonna leave SP stamina at 7 though

Wow, what a difference a patch makes!
This is the best sports game ever made.
As an online only player, it feels like this game just opened up!
This is clearly the game they wanted to ship.
This is a serious case for buying a PS4 just for this game.
Things i noticed in my first online head to head game.
Connection was solid green the whole time.

NO WARPING!
It didn't crash!
Pitch speed was accurate but one curveball was matrix speed
I'm seeing more and new cut scene animations in online than before.
more varied hits, fouls
Still see dropped frames in some animations
Check swing still feels heavily weighted toward not swinging. Sometimes that saves me but i feel like last year those same button presses resulted in actual swings.
At the end of an inning, the camera sits on frozen players sometimes, very akward, very wrong, very broken. Please fix.
Just had a fly ball where no players would go for the ball

The ball is landing in the glove, this is a beautiful thing after the last 3 weeks.
Bat still doesn't actually make contact with the ball on hits shown in replay
Runner still slides "through" the catcher as though his body/mass isn't there.
I love being able to change the camera for hitting/pitching during an online head to head game!
I love that there are players and managers in the dugout/on deck circle in online!!

If only Madden were made with this kind of craftsmanship...

Not my experience at all. Freezes every game and more glitchy than before patch. Good for you though

Having bought every game on release day since 2008 I've never been this disappointed. There is no way this game should have been released in the state that is online. Virtually unplayable. I'm starting to worry it can't be fixed.

Welp. 2nd game after the patch, first hit freezes game and ps3. Need to hard reboot. That sucks.
Game three and I am still seeing some warping in the field and with pitches.

only complaint i have after the patch is in MOM with QC with 2 outs and 3-2 counts runners arent running before pitch cost me a run! i had 1 instance where they did its about 1 out of 4! i thought they would have fixed this in the patch since knight brought it up as well. other than that luv the way the QC in MOM is working if they only had a few 0-0 counts in the mode it would be pretty close to perfect!

Couldn't you manually just start the runners?Agree it should happen automaticslly.

It always seems like franchise is the last mode to be patched. I'll give them a break considering the patch has been in the works probably before the game dropped but I expect the kinks to be worked out by the 2nd patch. This budget garbage (as noted by TBarnes) has been an issue with this series for as long as I can remember.
