If I'm the one doing the hitting, I'd like to be able to stand where I want to stand.Comment

Re: My love affair with The Show is over
Does anyone miss the old player cards? With the real picture of the player? I wouldn't even call them player cards anymore....more like player profiles. I miss seeing the real images and the flip animation to the stats on the back. Wish they never took it out....they have to bring it back.Comment

Re: My love affair with The Show is over
Exactly! I have seen guys move around plenty when they know a pitcher is pitching them a certain way. And it's not like we are gonna notice a lot anyways. I mean they might only move three or four inches, and you would be hard pressed to see that.Comment

U want it to play like an arcade game. Then by all means u should move ur batter all over the place.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Re: My love affair with The Show is over
If you want arcade baseball call up Midway games and get them to create another MLB Slugfest game. Oh wait a. they went out of business and b. no one really liked those games because they lacked realism. But in all honestly if you want little details like that then go buy games that are those types of games.Comment

Re: My love affair with The Show is over
I don't understand how moving a batter around in the box to suit your own user tendencies has anything to do with an arcade game, but you keep playing with that strawman! I'm sure you'll make sense eventually!Comment

Re: My love affair with The Show is over
I love the game but a few big gripes of mine:
1. Fielders throwing like they have some disability or are try to shot-put the ball.
2. No sense of urgency when fielding balls hit to off-balance side.
3. 1st baseman covering 2nd on doubles and two cut-off men in the outfield? I was always taught that the pitcher runs to back up third and the 1st baseman is the deep cut between home and the mound.
4. Speed rating needs to be revamped. There are generic plays where slow players always make it to first, and fast players are thrown out by a mile while trying to take 2.Comment

I'd also like to be able to change the mow patterns on the field before the game. We could do that in the old games, now we can't. We've been looking at the same Red Sox logo mow pattern for what 3 years now. I don't know, but I assume these things are minor things that could be done easily. Oh we'll, like I say every year as well, maybe next year?Comment
