I still play 13 due to not being able to afford 14 right now.

If I were you and you do egt the money to buy 14, I would just save it, and not waste the money on it this year, if your a franchise mode guy like I am. Now if they happen to fix franchise mode, then 14 is deifnitely worth it, because it looks and plays even better than 13 did. 13 did have the regression issue but thats easily fixed by re-editing the older players, with 14 franchise issues, there is absolutely no work around, so I would give them anymore money unless they fix it. I wish like hell I wouldnt have given them my money on day 1, but they had always been upstanding guys and the best devs in the business. Looks like now they have stooped to the level of the other sports companies, and are no longer trustworthy to pu tout a great game. Nver thought I would say that about these guys, but to leave this game as is with franchise mode unplayable has made me lose all respect for them. I have went back to playing 13, glad I didnt get rid of it, just wish I wouldnt have handed over my 65$ in good faith, cause its no tlooking promising on them fixing this game. I hope they make me eat my words, but Im not sure thats going to happen unfortunately.

Yep, this confirms why I try to wait as long as I can to get a sports game. At least I can get some enjoyment out of it for RTTS and I'll see what it's like with the offseason when I get there (I might can tolerate it, even though it should be improved).

I guess, since I got a physical copy, I could always sell it used at some point.

I will hold out hope on a patch. Maybe PS3 isn't forgotten, per se, but is a bit lower on the priority list (also confirming why I don't really like the way console gaming works...I can run PC games now on 7 yr old PCs...), so they may get around to it.

But, it is disappointing for sure...why not patch both platforms at the same time or similar time?

Same here, as much as I love the new additions in 14, and the gameplay is better, 13 is back in my console because of the mess they have with franchise mode on the PS3. There is no other way to put it, but 14 is completely useless if franchise mode isnt fixed for us diehard franchise mode players. I still have some slight hope for a patch, because they have always been good about this stuff, but if we dont see it within the next week or 2 at most it probably isnt happening. I know I wont ever buy thi sgame day 1 again and I have bough tit day 1 every since I bought a PS3 in 09. Probably wont buy it yearly if the game isnt fixed anyway, just to save some money, but with being able to transfer franchise really had me excited about keeping my chise while getting a better looking and playing game yearly, but its taken a huge step back thi syear with franchise broken, and no fix in sight, which is surprising because they have always been good about letting us know they are looking into patching issues.

I'm at the point where I can't enjoy 14 with all the franchise issues. I'm getting a ps4 in August, but I don't want to wait til then to play baseball.

I just installed 13 to see if anyone is still playing it online because 14 online is plagued with some actual game breaking issues.

I'm sure it's been well documented by now, but what exactly is "broken" in franchise mode that has made people not want to continue playing it? Must be really bad stuff..
