Have you guys tried reverting back to pre-patch installation? That's something I'm going to try & do to see what happens. I know there was quite a bit of stuff in both patches but hey maybe we need to just go back to default settings for the game. At least the freezing & deletion of files might not happen. I'm going to try it & see if it helps anything. Thanks!

I haven't tried myself, but I do seem to remember the Auto-Save freezing (and subsequent deletion of franchise files) being an issue from the very start, before any patches were released.

The two things I remember being appalled at from the very beginning were: (1) the freezing after games (I'm pretty sure I turned off Auto-Save on Day 1 or Day 2 when I realized it was deleting franchise files); and (2) the freezing that would happen if you tried to do multiple pages of edits on the Sounds of the Show music editor. That was my experience anyway.

Im in july in my Astros franchise and Have only had 1 freeze issue. I get the stupid freeze glitch from time to time during a game with pitches but other then that no save issues

I am happy to report, after turning off the auto save, I'm in game 3of the NLDS of my Cubs franchise. Went through the Wild Card round and 3 games of the NLDS and haven't had it freeze. I am saving each game in the 9th inning, just for safety sake, and saving after each game AND uploading to the could, but nothing has froze. Before turning off the auto save I couldn't play a game after July without the freeze happening. Don't know if this just dumb luck or what, but I'm happy......

I've had the Auto Save feature cut off the entire time I've been playing my franchise. I didn't have one problem with the game locking up until yesterday and the first time was after game #106 of the season. The game froze after the last out was completed after exiting back to the franchise menu. Also, it did it the next time I tried to play a game after simulating a couple of games.

I did do the trick to save before the last out of the game the third time I played a game and it froze then, too. However, when I restarted the game the In Game Save was there despite it locking up when I exited the game. I was able to finish that game and manually save the franchise like normal.

Very disappointing that none of the developers will comment or address this situation. I saw a similar thread on TheShowNation's forum and there were complaints about the situation being ignored there, too.

I have the digital download version of the game if that makes any difference.

Any idea if the presentation mode might effect this? I had been using Fast Play until a day or so ago before switching to Broadcast.
