    Re: Beltran's Stance

just wanted to add this here:

    Santana -> Capuano delivey

Everytime i pitch with santana now it feels like santana...lots of body movment, making his changeup evan more devastatin

now if we could only find a good delivery for CC Sabathia...any suggestion is appreciated, as his default one sucks pretty much.

He may have the worst pitching style in the game. It's exactly like Kevin Brown's, and CC's delivery looks nothing like Kevin Brown's in real life.

Chris Young's is the closest fit for Sabathia. From the stretch it's absolutely perfect. From the windup it's pretty close, the major downside being that he puts the glove at his belt and steps back as he starts the windup, and he doesn't do that in real life, but the rest of the delivery is accurate. MUCH better than the junk they put as his pitching style in the game.

Re: Player Edits (Equipment, #'s, Stances, ect.)

Last year, I used Carl Pavano for Sabathia. Dont know how accurate it is though to his real pitching delivery.

I'm watching the Nationals/Tigers game on ESPN right now and I really wish a lot of players didn't have the "Generic 1" stance/delivery. Bonderman's delivery right now looks almost exactly like James Shields' delivery, problem is that Shields is listed at generic 1.

Also noticed these players have their deliveries listed at generic 1 even though their signature style is in there.

        Fausto Carmona
        Jeff Francis
        Brian Fuentes
        Hideki Okajima
        Matt Clement
        James Shields
        Huston Street
        Cliff Lee

Rick Ankiel (I think he has a hidden one, only used the Cardinals once)
        Akinori Iwamura
        Johnny Peralta
        Daric Barton

          oh i c...
ill give it a try once i get home..
but does it have the proper follow through leg movment? cause that is the thing i couldnt find in any deliveries i google in the game for him..
i didnt take a close look to Young's though.

this is what im talking about:
          1-

          2-

we need to get that list right, so we dont edit those players, cause i think once u edit him u cant have his hidden delivery back, is that right?

            i think i lost Carmona's

Yep, once you edit it there's no going back. I noticed some batters too, I'll update the list. If you guys notice any more, please post them. A lot of the hidden ones are good (Fuentes in particular, they got his delivery down perfect).

i would hate to lose those 2 in particular.

Nope, doesn't have the follow through. There really is no motion in the game that fits Sabathia, Young is the closest I found.

They really need to re-do his for 09.

ok after looking very closely at videos and the deliveries, i think that Brad Lidge's is the most similar one...
i havent tried with runnerson base though...gotta test that.

edit: just tested..looks spot on too..ill use lidge

Also, for Gaudin, after studing it a bit, i think C.Ray's delivery is the closest. Gaudin also throws a lot from the side, and the leg kick is almost identical.
better than fossum , what i had before , imo.

That is what I hate about this damn game. What's the point in hiding these delieveries and stances? It's so idiotic. I've edited half of those guys because of the Generic 1 crap.

Just played an exhibition game with the Indians/A's to see if there was any hidden stances and I found some more.

                          Cliff Lee
                          Johnny Peralta
                          Daric Barton

I'll probably keep going and try to find all the hidden stances for the rest of the teams. I'll update you guys if I find any more.

ok finnally found a video o D.Eveland(A's 5th starter) pitching in his D-backs times.
B.Backe is very similar from the wind up...i havnet checked from the streach yet...but ill use backe for now.

also, get rid off him long sleeves and give him pants.

Good find, it's actually better from the stretch than the windup. The windup is a little too fast, but the follow through is accurate.
