strut and Rod take a look at E.Marrero for swish..
i think its better than betemit becasue of the bat angle and the hands heigh.
thats what ill be using

also for soriano have u guys checked greg Dobe(i cant remember the correct name..but its something like Dobe )?

Im still thinkin Betemit is better than Marrero cuz Swish holds his hands real high. A better one than both might be Shannon Stewart. Its tough to tell cuz the demo of him when you edit is him batting right handed and he hits lefty most of the time. I also think A. Jones is best for Soriano but none are great

ok a lot of you guys have been asking for the word file that ive been compiling. I will sendspace it one more time but then Im going to keep making updates and just save them for when I update Knights rosters in a few days or so. Feel free to keep making suggestions or requests but Im not going to keep posting the file. Here it is as of 4/24/08, with the edits from above added

If you have any problems with the ones on there, just change them yourself. We can argue all season about some of these but this is a list of the best compiled from your guys' help as well as A LOT of time I've spent using MLB.tv to get these.

for swish marrero is definatly the most accurate, take a look at the hands position:


imo marrero is the closest..setwart legs are too open..shish doesnt crouch that much

that picture is as he is setting up, he starts with his hands even higher than that, trust me, i called up the video of his at bats from last night. I assume you meant Bobby Dorr? He seemed to be leaning back on his back leg and didn't wave the bat at all. Ill add Contreras to the file

yeh its dorr..
uhhmm ok..i might use him, at least its better than soriano default stance(also the follow through is acurate)...i just dont like the idea of having soriano and a.jones with the same stance..2 stars of the same league...when its one from the NL and one from the AL i have no problem with it..but from the same league i rather not.

about swish..no man, thats not the set up..i watch a LOT of swisher last year and about 3 games this year....thats his hands position...also his bat never goes too close to his shoulder when he waves it(like betemit). thats why ill stick to marrero...betemit leg postion was the best imo..but the hand/bat position made me chose marrero.
swteart was just too "crouched" for my likes.

check out how high his hands are here...the bat is on an angle that is over his helmet. The Marrero stance in the game has his hands much lower, the bat goes the middle of his helmet. Stewart and Betemit have their hands that high

the hand look the same heigh as the pic i posted above..
also marrero doenst have his hand low...ill take a pic once i get home.
betemit, has the bat almos toching his shoulder which swish doesnt.
