      Re: Manny Ramirez

As I watched the sox game this morning me and my brother both noticed that Manny's stance has changed and it does look a lot like the one in This years game he does seem to have a bit of a crouch. I remember him having a more upright stance in years past but there is definitely more of a crouch in his stance this year. Not sure if it was just us that picked this up i know it was early for some of us i definitely think it is closer to his stance in the game than we think

Not a very good picture but the best i could find, they showed a great view from behind the pitcher and as soon as i saw it we looked at each other and said the same thing about his stance being slightly crouched

        Re: Manny Ramirez

I haven't been able to watch Manny day in and out since he went to Boston, but he was always changing his stance up when he was with the Indians. The worst was the year the Indians traded for Harold Baines. There were stories of how Manny liked the way Baines's stance looked so he tried to change his to mimic it. The problem was he changed it in the opening round of the playoffs and did awful. I mean, this is a guy who would wear other guys dirty underwear (true story from Sandy Alomar). I wouldn't get too upset about his stance since you can change it.

              Re: BATTING STANCE/PITCHING DELIVERY THREAD

Persistent aren't ya? Anyway for Miller, the last time I saw him he had a crouched stance so I'd say go with Kelly Stinnet or Delmon Young. Jeff Bennett's deliever is similar to Ervin Santana's if I remember correctly.

Does anyone have a stance suggestion for Nathan Haynes? He was just picked up by the Rays. Thanks.

ive tried Cairo, Alex Gonzo and Hatteberg. I watched him last night and watched some videos of him and he starts open and kinda closes as the pitcher winds up..I think I went with Cairo and it looks really close to how Gomez looks when he's about to swing

i'm looking for some help after watching the first few games this year..

in MLB 08: The Show what batting stances have people seen that have a front leg kick? The only one I know for sure is Soriano's.

B.Brosby stance is way off by default too..
just change him to the one right under his name in the stances list..i think its j.cruz
                              its perfect for him.

Here are a couple Yankee edits:

Giambi: Jermaine Dye looks better IMO
Billy Traber: Macdougal (spelling?) looks really good
                                L. Hawkins: His delivery is really unique; Dempster is prob. the closest fit
Jose Molina: Coco Crisp, not perfect but better than generic
Ohlendorf: F. Cordero or Corpas or JJ Putz
                                Albaladejo: Accardo
