Delivery-Saito is definitely the closest. He's slighty faster in his windup, but the rest of the components are there:wink:

Any chance you could work your magic and make CAP's of Kawakami and Uehara Carew?

                    stance-Gathright is fairly close

and while you're at it, at this time, Michael Young's position is THIRD BASE...not shortstop

I guess this is decent place to mention this...

In watching the Citi Field video, I noticed that the generic swing follow throughs are still in for most players? That's quite unfortunate. It gets kind of frustrating to see the same swing follow through for every single player on certain types of swings/hits. I wish they would add some new ones. Oh well.

These vids were done without any of the new animations put in.

That's good news, however, I don't believe they changed them anyway. They've been the same for about 3 or 4 years now, and since it's a pretty minor thing, I don't see them fixing it.

And for those who will most likely confuse the swing FOLLOW-THROUGHS with the actual swing, they ARE different. Many of the big name players have their correct swings for homers (at least the "canned" no-doubt homers) but their normal, base hit swings are pretty much all this generic looking, kind of ugly, toss the bat behind you-follow through. It's not a huge deal, but it's just kind of disappointing to see when you pay attention to the swings.

Considering they said they added over 700 new animations, and they hired the "Batting Stance Guy" to do them, I wouldn't count it out yet.

Oh ok that's cool. Maybe they will than. I usually don't expect it because a swing follow-through is just such a minor, quick, sometimes not noticeable thing. Unfortunately it's pretty important and always overlooked. I have hope for this year now, though.
