    PAT BURRELL-LF/DH (Rays)

Forever on my quest to find the RIGHT stance for Pat Burrell, I just viewed his stance in Boston on their Openng Day early this week. He's a guy who DOES vary his stance here and there. With that said, based on his stance in Boston, I'm going with Franklin Gutierrez

      FELIX PIE-ORIOLES

Pie's stance from the left side...where most of his AB's will be from is almost a mirro image of Brian Roberts. That's what i'm going with.
As some of you know, when I do stances with switch-hitters, I'll always go with their stance from the left side...

        DANIEL MURPHY-LF (METS)

It looks as though Murphy has changed his stance a bit from last year also. I think a very good argument can be made that Rich Aurilia's stance is the closest one availible to what I've been seeing from Murphy so far this season.

            Re: Robinson Cano, Dontcha Know?

IF you go by his 'new' stance, Im not sure whose stance qualifies. IF you go with his regular, more familiar stance, I've settled on Nick Johnson's
Seems that since ST, he's kinda flip-flopped between the two

                  Re: BATTING STANCE/PITCHING DELIVERY THREAD

I was watching the Jays last night and noticed Aaron Hill changed his stance slightly. Seems to be slightly open now, from the top of my head, kinda looks like Chris Gomez's stance. I have to check the stance out in game to figure it out.

EDIT: It's mostly defintely NOT Chris Gomez so I'm gonna have to look through

Brad Ziegler - Oakland A's closer

                      motion: O. Hernandez

After watching Adenhart's game on Wed (RIP Adenhart), I just realized Ziegler's motion was similar to El Duque's. Obviously Ziegler comes from a lower slot, but sidearms that don't miss many bats typically. Until Ziegler change it, I'm going with El Duque for now.

                        Re: Emilio Bonifacio

again, like many players...Bonifacio has changed his stance.... The one I listed was from last September...from the left side. In tonight's game (from the left side) which is currently in progress, his stance is more like a Cristian Guzman's, J.D. Drew's or Orlando Hudson's.

for this thread....all 93 pages, there's no sole Mets thread--although while on this thread, if you key in a specific players' name in the search this thread area, if it's here, you'll see it.

in the Rosters scetion however, there's a New York Mets thread.

                            Ronald Belisario-RP (Dodgers)

delivery: Fernando Rodney is the only one that's got more of the elements of his delivery. And with that said, even it's NOT perfect.

Belisario pitches from the stretch with his glove high near his head. He then does a slight twist/looking down a little with a medium leg kick. Kind of reminds one of Dontrelly a bit...He finishes his delivery with a fiece fall towards the first base side of the mound.....
