P.J. WALTERS-SP (Cardinals)
Delivery: going with James Shields on this...DiNardo and Hochevar were close, along with Pavano...but the fluidity/quickness of his delivery (approx 3.1 seconds from start of windup until trailing leg touches the mound) made me choose James Shields.
Stance: Torii Hunter
SCEA, we need RED gloves...thank you!For 2017...

Re: BATTING STANCE/PITCHING DELIVERY THREAD
Just looked down some more stances for the Jays and wanted to know your opinion.
Travis Snider - Durham, Hatteberg, podesdnik (he might moves a bit too much)
Kevin Millar - Randy Winn actually looks pretty decent as i personally use theriot or eric chavez.. but came upon Winn.. looks good I think.
Ricky Romero - Aaron Laffey.. pretty spot on.. oh yeah I think we found our new #2 pitcher..he's been awesome since he joined the rotation!Comment

@ JaFFiTh
ok, here's what I have:
Snider: Napoli
Millar: Eric Chavez or Theriot. I went with Chavez
Romero: R. Perez...
again, most of you guys and me DONT look for the same 'benchmarks' with these pitching deliveries...e.g. does the pitcher fall off to first base? third base? Does the glove stay up throughout the delivery? Is the leg kick high, medium or very low?
Looking at the two, I see why I chose Perez...he falls towards the third base side of the moundafter the delivery. Laffey's delivery is similar, but he does NOT fall towards third.
so...thats where we are with that. It's a LOT of work to do it that way, but that's the only way I can do it.

@ Goose158
Now I havent seen him since ST, but comparing the two stances:
leg positioning: about the same-slightly closed
hand/bat positioning: Rivera-hands at helmet height; Wood-hands at neck height
I remember Weiter having excess bat movement, Rivera's is not so excessive....
Wood-more upright
Rivera-slighty hunched over
Hmmmmmm
For 2017...
