Re: pittsburgh Pirates, AAA, AA Edits

Charlie Morton was just called up to pitch, he exited early last night with hamstring tightness but should be ok. Here is his MLB number (#37) and his edits. His delivery seems hidden, and from what little I saw of him pitch, it seems good, so I wouldnt risk changing it.

    #37 Charlie Morton SP (MLB)

His delivery is one of the hidden generic ones, but it's actually correct for him, since he goes overhead.

hey tree, i've been watching a lot of Pirate games of late and I just have a good feeling about them lately. McCutchen's addition has really added a needed dimension to the team. Anyway, I have a question, what are your CAPS for Delwyn Young and Andy LaRoche? Would they be any different from Knight's and SCEA's? I just feel these players need a rating boost.

I agree, Cutch is a lot of fun to watch, quite an upgrade in CF.

Here are the edits I made to Andy LaRoche and DY (very sutble with Delwyn), these are based off knight's version 5 rosters. I also put my edits for Cutch, he was under rated on Knights roster.

          Andy:
          RC: 52
          LC: 61
          RP: 45
          LP: 53

          DY:
          RC: 64
          LC: 57

          Cutch:
          RC: 51
          LC: 58
          RP: 40
          LP: 44
          VIS: 61
          DIS: 63
          Speed: 91

awesome thanks for posting those edits tree3five. i agree to Cuth is so much better in CF the Nate, dont get me wrong, Nate was my second fav Pirate behind Freddy, but i think Cuth has replaced him.

he was defently under rated before

hopefully, we keep Cuth long enough to get Pedro and Tony Sanchez (i actually like the pick) up to the majors

              no problem JDawg

Nate WAS my favorite bucco and I still think he will do well in Atlanta, but ya Cutch is an upgradewith his speed, avg, defense, the only thing Cutch doesnt have that Nate does is power but that will come.

Ya I agree, i think Jorge Sanchez could be something special. Hey what do you think about this at catcher when Doumit returns: Once Adam LaRoche is traded, move Doumit to first (maybe keep him off the DL for once) and keep Jaramillo as the starting catcher, JJ has been a stud for us playing good D and hitting for avg with a ton of doubles.

Hey as far as McCutchen, what I did with Knights roster was switch the original McCutchen with a player with A potential. I used Travis Snider from the Blue Jays. Knight made his own Travis Snider, the real version of him is in Free Agency at the very bottom. So I just wrote down the CAP for McCutchen and swaped Toronto's Travis Snider and made him into McCutchen and making the old McCutchens attributes all 5. Then I copied Knights CAP for Snider and swaped the old McCutchen for the Snider in free agency and applied all the attributes to him. This makes McCutchen really good after a few years. I noticed you added some pop(power) to McCutchen's bat. Haha why'd you do that? The speed is dead on though, that boy can fly.

good idea, nice work, I may do the same thing you did with Snider, thanks for the heads up.

I added power to Cutch because well he has some power, lol, he had 4 HRs with Indy. I wanted to give him the ability to hit some to the wall and in the gap that could turn into triples. the SCEA CAP of Cutch game him similar power as well.

Yeah, i didn't think of that. I'm 7-6 so far in my franchise but McCutchen is batting .300 with 3 RBIs but the majority of his 16 hits have been singles... so i'll probably be making a call whether or not to bump up his power. I wouldn't mind him legging out some triples too, haha.

--RHP Tyler Herron was signed as a free agent and assigned to Class AA Altoona. He was a first-round draft pick of St. Louis in 2005 but was released by the Cardinals last month.

what i did was traded Quinton Miller to the cards for Herron. Herron is sporting the #17 for the Curve according to BaseballAmerica.com

What ever happened to Quinton Miller? I can't find him on any of Pittsburgh's affiliates.

ya I saw that they signed Herron, could be a nice pick up. I havnt yet, but I am going to trade Crotta for Herron, I already edited and traded Miller a while ago.

I am not sure where Miller is I looked for him awhile back and couldnt find him on any roster. maybe he will play on the State College Spikes (Short Season A) I dont know.
