Personally, I didn't see anything wrong with his mechanics until after he collided with Mark DeRosa in 2003 (I pitched all the way through college). Even though he went on to win a lot of games after that, his mechanics were off a little to compensate, in my opinion.Comment

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
I am clearly bitter after spending 3+ seasons defending him...“I told him the next time he does that, I’m going to get my blade out and cut him, right on the field. Hey, I’m a gangsta now. You go gangsta on me, I’m gonna have to get you now.”

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
Okay guys....
I'm still working on the AAA and AA rosters and lineups...but I'll give you the final set without it and send out another with it for those that want it.
As far as the lineups...it's not that important right now anyway, because the CPU is going to do what it wants...regardless!...so it would just be setting the AAA roster for you guys if you want to do it "quickly" on your own.
Anyway....
-Nearly 1200 players created....
-All created players rated and leveled for their position in the depth chart and proximity to the MLB in some cases
-All pitchers with correct pitches
-Faces for all players done(some will be reworked...I've explained that before)
-The MLB lineups are set as well as the pitching staffs....I did not alter the pitchers to try and line up the 1-5 though as the CPU would need that to allow for real life mirroring of this.
If you want the next version with the lineups for AAA and AA done...it'll be tomorrow.(sorry)
Two things...there is one dev(forgot where I put him...but you will recognize him)...and I had no room to move Eric Gagne(Brewers) and Chris Gomez(Orioles)...so if you want to do that on your own....just sign a player...and trade them then release those guys(zero them out for an easy trade)

Enjoy and let me know if you have any suggestions or comments.
Thanks to everyone involved and you guys for your patience...

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
I dont know how much you guys know about Strasberg, but he almost never played college baseball. He showed up to the first day of practice and threw-up after their first workout. He was in horrible shape and had never touched a weight in his life before college. He was an average pitcher, and in his first winter training in college lost 25 lbs, grew 2 inches, and gained 7 mph on his fastball. His arm has very little wear and tear on it, and he is a machine.
I think he is the sure thing to go number 1, and the only thing that would prevent that is the 50 million that his agent, Scott Boras, wants from the Nationals. If not the Mariners would take him 2nd and gladly pay him that. There was a big article on Strasburg a couple weeks ago on sports illustrated's site.Comment
