Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
Knight only does rosters for the PS3. You should do a few searches on here to see if anyone has said anything about making a roster set for the PS2.Comment

Awesome.
I'm not sure if you know this or not, but Trevor Crowe has played in the outfield and at 2nd base in the minors. I thought this might be worth stating because of the secondary position option.Comment

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
Trevor will be in for 1 reason, I am doing the research and he played baseball at UofA when I played football at UofA. So, out of loyalty he will be in and rated 99 everything with a potential. hahahaha, not kidding....Comment

maybe he hates Bobby B“I told him the next time he does that, I’m going to get my blade out and cut him, right on the field. Hey, I’m a gangsta now. You go gangsta on me, I’m gonna have to get you now.”

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
Knight, I have a question. I thought about PM'ing it to you, but I thought someone might have an opinion or some input on it.
I posted a short list of faces that I would like to see Brunnoce do (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2039307843) and then I realized that some of these guys might not be included because they might have slipped too far down the "prospect list". Will you be including the following:
Mitch Canham (Oregon State)
Darwin Barney (Cubs)
Dallas Buck (Reds) Coming off of Tommy John surgery.
Jonah Nickerson (Tigers)
Cole Gillespie (Brewers)
All of these players are still young, have a ton of talent and most of them were recently top 10 prospects in their organizations. I still classify them as top propects. If you want or need any information on any of these guys, let me know.
I'm not trying to pick on the people who ask about the top guys, but I hope you can see why I'm asking about these players.
thanks for the hard work guys.Comment

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
just a quick question.
are you just doing the prospects in the minors or can i expect guys with major league experience that just couldnt cut the major league team. i would like to have all those guys in the game as well.guys like junior spivey, who has no shot with the mets.or darnell mcdonald and jason lane who might make it,might not?
all i hear is prospect talk and not much about these guys. not a big deal but would like to know for sure if you plan on adding them.Comment

Those players are already probably in the game as SCEA players...(Lane was last year...not sure this year)
Here is how I set it up.
-Top 15 prospects for a team where possible(meaning if there are 12 starting pitchers in the top 15...I may have to move onto other positions to find them)
-Correct 40 man rosters for each team
----These two are a must on my sets-----
-Correct AAA.....
-Fill in the rest of AA with what fits best. That may be the actual AA players...that may be more prospects from lower levels(this will be guided by what level potential the players I have left are in most cases)
Hope this helps..

Some of these overlap...like Matt Weiters being a top 15 prospect AND also in AAA(likely)All gave some. Some gave all. 343Comment

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
Hey Knight, just a request if you can. While doing the Padres he is not on the 40 man roster or what i would call a "Top Prospect" but if you need to fill the AA roster could you include P Will Startup? He SHOULD hopefully be back from injury this season and back in AAA after some rehab.Comment

I'll will note him down and when it comes time for me to fill in my research I will see what I can do about adding him and giving that to knight, fair deal?Comment

He's in.
Edit...he's got that crazy high leg kick....I need a motion for him...
Also...does he still wear the beard?

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
That's making me laugh.
Those guys are the reason why I chose Oregon State as an avatar. I didn't start liking those players because I'm an Oregon State fan. I became an Oregon State fan because of those players.
Make sure everything is a 99, except for his drag bunting and blocking.
Trevor is one of my all-time favorite players. Speaking of Arizona players, do you know if Chris Frey is going to make it in for the Rockies? He's one of my all-time favorite defensive outfielders.
Those pictures are of Josh Horton. He was a Freshman All-American, preseason first team All-American and second team All-American DH/SS at North Carolina. If you go back and read that post again, you'll see that the first part of the post is about Tony Thomas and the second half of it is about Josh Horton.Last edited by Jason_19; 03-17-2009, 07:55 PM.Comment
