Knight, seriously, don't worry about it at all. I think many of us understand that there's no possible way that you could go back and start over.

For those who don't understand the roster making process, try editing just one team. Start by editing every single player's name. Remember that names have to be matched up with the player's potential rating. Then, change every attribute for ever Minor league player, but don't just do it randomly. Before you make every change, think of a number and then change that attribute to that exact number. After that, create the faces for just the top guys on that team. Then, you still have to move all of the players around to get them on the correct teams and you still have to change equipment, batting stances and deliveries for dozens upon dozens of players. Imagine doing this for every team, at every level on the game.

Is there anyone who would rather have correct career stats than have all of these things?

Definitely, there is no way anyone reasonable here expects Knight to redo his roster for a little thing like this. I used to do all of my own rosters before joining operation sports, so I feel his pain. I used to spend more time editing rosters than playing it seemed and then I would end up not liking the game I made rosters for, lol (I'm not referring to the Show of course).

I personally really don't care that much about it, but I understand that some of you do, that's the only reason why I was wondering about a new workaround.

lol...not entirely true. I believe the FA's are goofed with this issue too (I recall Sheets and Schilling being swapped) and some of the coaches become randomly generic according to some people.

The point remains though...if there's no way around it, there's no way around. Knight's put in so much work to this point, we'll either have to hope for an SCEA fix or just have to deal with it. It sucks because A-Rod had a shot at breaking the HR record, but I'm sure some will find some form of redemption in this this anyway...lol. Oh well...stuff happens.

It's just not A-roids year is it? His stats are tainted now anyway (sorry Yankees fans, but I never liked the guy or his lack of game in the postseason).

Maybe that is why they did it? 203 HR's before roids? I kid of course. I actually like the guy, or atleast used to.

I'd bet ZERO before roids.

Hopefully there's a fix for this, but I care more about having a full minor league roster than this bum's tainted HR total anyway. We did without Bonds' for long enough, it seems only fitting.

Our only hope right now probably is a patch. There is alot of players with incorrect stats. Gardner, Swisher, Arod just to name a few and I did not even look at the pitchers.

I absolutely understand guys wanted correct historical stats.
Heck....when I did rosters for High Heat...I included historical stats in them!(YIKES....that was a lot of work )...
I figured the work around would keep working around! ...
I'll PM Kolbe and ask if there is something that can be done...if not through a patch...maybe directly to my roster when I'm done.
Just a thought.

Yeah, I think we were all likely thinking the same. It's disappointing, but with all the roster changes made to the game (in terms of the formatting), there were bound to be a few hiccups.

I'm sure if they can do something for us, they'll give it a go. They're back in about a week now, so I'm sure we'll get word soon enough, one way or another.

I totally agree. I never play more than 2 years anyway so I would much rather have the real minor leaguers than a chance for Arod or someone to break the HR record.

Forgive me, but I refuse to look through 63 pages of this thread. Is the release for this going to be ready by opening day or at least the middle of April? Since this is a minors project, how would we go about getting updated mlb rosters and this to go together at the same time? thanks.

I think I've heard that the release will be close to opening day. Don't quote me on that though. Also, you could always try using the search for long threads like this. I don't mean to sound like a jerk.. I'm just sayin.

Hey Knight or anyone helping him with these rosters. Just a quick question.... I was wondering if you were redoing the coaching staffs for each team. Somebody has them in their roster set online and they look really good. Just wondering if you will be redoing them with the real hitting coaches and so on. Thanks for all the hard work. People really appriciate these rosters.

Also your shooting for the 2nd week in April for a finished version? Is this correct?
