The faces of the 40 man rosters for each team are done...
As well as 100+ of the top prospects.
I'm also making sure that the faces/colors/general look of the guys I'm not doing right now match up.

The faces for the entire O's, Yanks, Red Sox and I believe Rays are completely done also. I believe it was with the Blue Jays where I started "quick" editing.

I'm still doing the ratings for the "quick" edited players to match up their real life performances.

I'm plugging away....



I wanted to ask Brunnoce to do the faces when I was done...but I see Wookie "grabbed" him....bodhiball has kindly offered his services...so either way the faces will get covered....so I'll ask Razr to send it back to me to finish those up when he updates the set.

the thing is that i had a lot of spare time 1 week ago to do those faces for Ridinrosters, and i had a couple of days this week to help wookie, but he never replied to me, so it was a no go.....
i really wnated to help you the big project this year too, but at the moment my spare time is really reduced by work, and i dont know when ull be done...but ill definatly help depending on my work schedule once u release the full roster, it would be better if u could ask me to improve some faces u feel it needs once its done, and ill do it with pleasure

btw, what roster did u use to start it off? does it have d.elevand corrected with 215lbs? because the first roster updated had him as slim as a 90lbs top model! hehehehehe

A quick question......say the final edition of the rosters come out in mid-April, will they be up to date or as of opening day? I'm guessing opening day so that our franchise will be in sink, and we can do the transactions since then ourselves. Either way is fine, I was just wondering.

Both of these players are in Arizona's top 30 prospects in Baseball Americas Prospect Handbook (Skelton is #27 and Brown is #28, I believe). Also, Skelton is a catcher but has also played a little first base ... three games is all, though. Both players will be in AA for their respective teams.

Skelton plays more than 1st base, the D-Backs have played him at 2nd and some outfield this spring.

The Pirates completed their opening 25-man roster by optioning one reliever, Evan Meek, and naming another, Jesse Chavez, to the team.

Ah that's too bad for Evan, he looked pretty good in ST, guess he couldnt quite shake that illness he's had lately. Oh well, I'm sure the Pirates will call him up soon.

How much, if any, will the lineup fix edits effect player performance when compared to without the edits?

I am a little confused. I am waiting for knights roster to start my franchise. Ill want his most complete one that also has the line up issues fixed. Which release will this be. First second or third release.

I hate to be the one to answer this...as I don't want to seem subjective.
Others have tested it...and were very pleased with the stats.
I love the gameplay with them...so I'm pretty happy on both ends of the spectrum....

The biggest hurdle for me is the Indians.
Sizemore and Martinez. To get that lineup correct.....it takes the most "tweaking" of any team.
I'll leave it lay for the correct lineup....notify..and let others change it if they like.
(To get Sizemore batting 1st and Martinez 3rd...I have to deflate Sizemores power numbers and inflate Martinez on both contact and power. I will compensate in other areas.....and have gotten Sizemore to hit 30+ homers....but he also winds up hitting over .300 quite a bit.)
I'll also be releasing a "stock" ratings(for MLB players) set...which of course won't have the lineups as per the MLB...so guys can have both.
I'm sure there will be some that say..."this is not realistic"...when looking at the ratings...for the lineup fix set with some players(like Sizemore/Martinez...they are the biggest skew IMO)......but you absolutely cannot have it both ways if you want MLB correct lineups.

Seriously...... Knight "patched" it easily with some minor player editing

I would "think" that SCEA would be able to fix this pretty easily and "hope" that they see this as a major issue and potential Season/Franchise KILLER

I'm speculating here, but I really think they will fix the CPU roster control ON roster lineup problem. With it OFF, I don't think so, since as Knight has said in the past, it does use a decent formula, it's just the ratings that causes problems (his opinion, and I agree).

The reason I am speculating they will fix the CPU roster control ON lineup problem is because that feature is truly broken. You should be able to control all the lineups and rotations with that ON. Of course it depends on how this feature is implemented, but it should be an easy fix (but, hey only SCEA devs know the answer to that).

I was watching the Brewers and White Sox game earlier and the announcers were talking about Mark DiFelice having a new cutter that he throws about 90% of the time.

He already has a cutter as his first pitch. Thanks anyway.
