I was being a bit facetious, but last years guys were opening the PS3 file and taking stuff out of it and trying to import that into their PS3. The PS3 will ONLY recognize a folder that say PS3. It will not recognize a file that says SAVED DATA, for example. All you need to do is put that PS3 folder, that is in the zip file, into your PS3. Make sure your flashdrive doesn't have another folder in it titled PS3. I think that was causing a conflict too.

If you have any problems, just PM me and I'll get you through it.

lol - Trust me, Don't open it.. I have before, and not touched a thing, and then I have to start over from scratch to get it to work.. Seriously, all kidding aside, lol, DONT OPEN IT..

Tonights roster file from Knight will *NOT* have full minors for the NL Central or NL West ??

Is this correct ?

Okay....just moved about 1000 tons of earth(my wife wanted a garden....STAT!!!...I have no idea why...it's 30 degrees and SNOWING! here...love you hon! )

Anyway....the only reason I want these as a O.S. release only right now...is because they are not totally completed. I just don't want them out in "space" where people who would use them don't understand that right now.

Here is exactly how tonight's set will be.

-Every team will have the correct ACTIVE(25 man) ROSTER

-Every team will have the correct players for the 40 man roster(meaning I had to create players to get these correct)

-Every team has some of it's top prospects(only because some of these overlap with the 40 man roster AND I created the top 50 originally and then continued on...until I started addressing the full minor leagues) ....(this really only applies to the NC CENTRAL AND NL WEST teams....everyone else has all their players.

-Any created player by me is rated according to stats/scouting/hunches() and "leveled" for their place in the depth chart of the organization. I did take into account the guys closest and most likely to hit the majors.

-The O's, Yanks, Red Sox are the closest representation to what every team will be eventually....There still may be some adjustments(the AAA and AA rosters were not set when I did those teams)...but the faces are done for every player on those squads.
-The AL EAST, AL CENTRAL, AL WEST and NL EAST have every player on those squads as real players. All ratings are done...some(a lot) of faces are done. At the very least...I got the color and likeness(close).

- The lineups are done for every team. This involved some "adjustments"....and if you are a pure SCEA rating guy...don't fret...the same EXACT set will be released with STOCK SCEA ratings.This will take some time...but not very long...and it will be released.

When you download these....I already will have them in a PS3/SAVEDATA folder...so you will simply unzip them(using WinZip...just google it...it's free and easy to use...when the trial period for it is up...just delete it using your add/remove software utility in Windows and then simply re-install it(save the download on your desktop)....I've used the free 45 day trial for YEARS(I'm just too lazy to pay...and yes I feel guilty) onto the flash drive....copy the folder onto your PS3 hard drive and then load it when you start your game.

PLEASE remember that these are a work in progress and I'm using you guys as GUINEA PIGS!!!(sorry....but I gotta get something in return! )...and will welcome feedback ....EXCEPT please don't use this thread for comments(only good ones!...but instead PM me(actually....it's just that the comments/suggestions/criticisms will get lost in the thread and I value them to make changes.

i am sorry but knight if this is just a first batch what more do ppl expect this is enough man thx for everything. i guess i do franchise with these and follow jim advice. this is more then enough to do franchise. how bad is the stat glitch have you notice it to be like ridin roster with a few ppl affected or is it worst and more team are affected?

Just to inform you, these will not have the minor leaguers for the NL Central and NL West, so these aren't really Franchise material rosters. They are a great set to observe and play minor league games with until the Central and West are finished.

If Knight is able to post his roster tonight, what kind of time frame should we expect before RAZR, strut24, et all post a version with updated batter stances, pitches edits, etc - are we talking days or weeks?

After reading though all of the 70+ pages of posts on n8rockerasu and Skyboxer's batter walkup music, I didn't have time to get through all 132 pages of this one, so apologies all around if this has already been asked/answered.

I hope these rosters have Mark Ellis updated to 97 in R CON, 93 in L CON and 100 in Manliness. Otherwise these rosters are inaccurate....

And also knight and strut when do you guys want me to add the stamina edits and do the finishing touches to the pitching edits? When I get done there will be 2 files so I was thinking maybe when knight gets done whoever is doing faces gets it, then I get the file and do my thing, and then strut gets then edited file and add stances while knight gets the file with just the finishing touches on the pitches and without the stamina edits and takes care of whatever he's going to do to get rid of the lineup fix. I just want to know what you two think because I haven't heard from knight on this yet.

Will the roster with the stock ratings have zero adjustments? I'd like your attribute edits I'm just not a fan of tweaking them for lineup purposes.

I hate to keep asking, and please don't bite my head off (I know you guys have to be tired of answering these questions), but...

Are the player edits (batting stances, equipment/accessories, etc.) from Shinyhubcaps' thread (see below) going to be incorporated into the roster being released tonight?

If not, will there be a roster that includes them posted before Knight's final roster is dropped (which I understand will not be available until sometime in May)? If so, will it be posted as one of Knight's rosters or listed as an alternate roster from RAZR, Shiny, strut, or one of the other guys who have been working so diligently on this massive and much appreciated endeavor?

Just to inform you, these will not have the minor leaguers for the NL Central and NL West, so these aren't really Franchise material rosters. They are a great set to observe and play minor league games with until the Central and West are finished.

i only play one season in franchise anyway that why i said it will work for me

So what site do we go to to find the file?? I apologize if this has been asked.

Right click on your mouse first to see if you have an option to extract files. If you do, then just use that to "unzip" the zip file. An unzipped folder called PS3 will usually go to your desktop. Then just move that folder to your memory card any way you like, copy & paste, dragging, sending, whatever.
If when you right click there is no option for extracting, here is a link for winzip. It will say that it is not free, but you can evaluate it without paying. Winrar also works and has free evaluation. They will periodically ask you if you want to buy it sometimes, but keep working (at least they used to).

RAZR, have the reliever stamina edits already been applied to the roster Knight has been working on? I thought that was the case, but maybe I am incorrect?
