I prefer Baseball America.
I know some guys can't stand Will Lingo...or Jim Callas...or John Manuel or Chris Kline..
(at any one given time I guess)...but I do read Sickels and go to his website regularly.
I have received his analyst publication in the past...but for the last two years...my order got shipped...and then was in limbo..and I didn't receive it until late JUNE!
..so I didn't order it this year.
Do you like MiLB Analyst by McKamey?
I love their potential/probability setup and wish SCEA would adopt that.
As for formula.....I had to come up with my own.
Trying to plug something in just doesn't work that well....and in a way..it is by "eye". I no longer have to actually do calculations....it's automatic now(too many years at this)
That's why I couldn't tell guys how I was getting the lineups to work.
It's not that I didn't want to say...but it's practically impossible to relay.
It's not...do this and you get that. I look at the entire lineup and squad in one shot..and just know, after years of this, what I need to do to get the desired results. It was a little changed this year from last..that's why the first few were time consuming.
Progression is the next of my tests.
Luckily...I have a couple of weeks as I won't be starting the Full Minors(creating the minor league guys) for a couple of weeks. Razr is currently doing the MLB pitchers for the set and Strut is doing the stance/motions so I have some time to test.
