Not at all like Manny is Kemp. Manny wiggles hit bat and moves his body around, whereas Kemp is pretty stationary.

Everything is up to date. Thank you to everyone who has participated thus far, and it was nice to get some Tigers edits and some more Dodgers edits. I was a little bit behind on the Dodgers' roster, that's for sure.

marino, thanks for posting the music, but I don't think I can fit that here after all. That would go in the "Sounds of the Show" forum. I believe there's also a link on my first post to sound packs that one of the members was compiling; it had clips of the walk-up music.

Also, there were no 1/2 sleeves, so I had to go with either 3/4 or Above Elbow. I also switched the left and right sleeves on Hudson per photos from the game on Monday.

Wookie, from what I've seen I think Marlon Byrd's stance works well for Nelson Cruz.

Kinsler = Francouer (bat motion & the followthrough is similar link)
Hamilton = Chris Young (has the heel off the ground and similar bat movement link)
                  Marlon Byrd - Ryan Spilborghs

Thanks for the input. I will pick up from Post 186 next time I edit (not tonight or tomorrow though... too much homework ).

I've made a few changes to things that I've seen while watching games on TV. I can't recap all of them, but I remember I changed Prince Fielder's stance to R. Hernandez. The one that was suggested (Mackowiak) was too open. Hernandez and Fielder have nearly identical stances in the game anyway, but Hernandez has a more natural bat movement.

To each his own I guess man, I know watching the rangers extensively I am a sort of OCD guy when it comes to them, so I will offer my opinion and tlel you why I chose thestance I did:

Kinsler: The francuer stance is ok, its just waaaay to much in refrence to what he does in real life. In all actuality the brandon wood stance has a tad to fast wiggle to it but everyhting is perfect to the "T". Francoeur has all lot of movemnt whereareas the wood stance has just the right amount of everything. Trust me watch his 2009 videos on mlb TV and you will know what I am talking about.

Nelson Cruz: There really isnt a stance to perfectly match whaht he does day to day, nick johnson is the closest so trust me on this one. Its the same with cano on the yankees, I had a hell of a time trying to figure out what to do with him until I settled on eddie murray since it was the closest. Besides, byrd's stance has waay to much bat tapping goin on and cruz deos none of that...he just cavemans the crap of the ball! LOL

Hamilton: This guy is my hero and truth be told jed lowries stance is the exact morror image of hamiltons but since good ol sony has hidden stuff AGAIN this year delmon young is the next best thing. Chris young has a very upright stance so its not as good to ME.

Byrd: Marlon has the tapping of the bat on his shoulder and is square. I have done a lot of video searching and watch the MLB TV brotha, morneu's stance is spot replica.

DL my new roster set man, I have some damn good stances that took me awhile to replicate. the only one I didnt get to was shin soo choo and his is easy, its libethal all the way.

Shiny, check the Atlanta thread as I've posted my edits in there and am too lazy to put them in here. For these below, I have looked at numeruos video on each player as current as available (meaning '09 - Mike Rabelo has no ABs this year so had to resort to last year)

                            Marlins Edits

                            Ronny Paulino - Miguel Olivo
Mike Rabelo - Julio Franco/Kevin Youklis (Youklis is perfect but the position of the hands on the bat is distracting
Gaby Sanchez - Generic 3 2H ( I hate using generics but it's the best one available)
                            Emilio Bonifacio - Todd Greene
                            Alfredo Amezaga - Robb Quinlan
                            Cody Ross - Delmon Young

                            Nats Edits

                            Je'sus Flores - Eric Bruntlett
                            Alberto Gonzalez - Johnny Gomes
                            Anderson Hernandez - Dave Roberts
                            Ronnie Belliard - Bengie Molina
                            Christian Guzman - Nyjer Morgan
Josh Willingham - Juan Pierre (unable to see a good video but here's the best link from this season)
                            Ryan Zimmerman (link)
                            Adam Dunn - Bobby Crosby

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I didn't have any time to play today so that's on my to-do list for tomorrow is to hopefully get some time to knock out some stances and motions for those in need.

I was busy all day today and I just got done watching Greinke through a total gem to outduel Kevin Milwood..

DL my new roster set man, I have some...good stances that took me awhile to replicate. the only one I didnt get to was shin soo choo and his is easy, its libethal all the way.
I download the roster (I told ya thanks in the thread! ) and I like some of them. Personally, I like the players to have the same FT (follow-through) if at all possible. (which Carew hates but irregardless...)

Francouer seemed pretty similar to Wood, except there's a little more bat movement and the FT is similar. Also, Kinslar doesn't seem to have his hands as far out as Wood does like w/Frenchy's it is a little more closer to his body.

The Byrd=Mornaeu is okay but Mornaeu is tapping the bat like his shoulder has an itch or something...Spilbourghs has bat movement similar to Byrd but not hyperactive like Mornaeu's.

Hamilton, in all the videos available on mlb.com had his front heel off the ground a little like Chris Young and both CY & DY stances have similar bat movement (but agreed - CY is a little more upright)

By no means am I saying you're wrong and I know you've worked on all of these players extensively. As I've said before it's like comparing apples - one's red and one's green but they're both apples and gets the job done.
