Ok I looked through Travis Snider.. I think Scott Podesdnik has the best stance especially from the waist and down. Upper is very close, only difference is Snider has his arms slightly higher than podesdnik and waggles a bit less but I would say it's the closest one I could find.

Other options are Tomas Perez and Miguel Olivo.

I think the best batting stance for Nelson Cruz , Texas OF is Adrian Gonzalez, I've been using it and it looks SPOT ON!

i appreicate the effort but what is it with this thread changing so many stances from ones that already exist in the game? You relize that if someone changes griffeys stance to bruntlett, for god knows what reason, his swing animation and everything else goes with it as well right?

This is based off of Knights Al only rosters.

*Akinori Iwamura- stance is in the game. It is hidden. Forearm Bands- Wide w/Number. Bat-red(he switches a lot though).

*Carlos Pena- does not wear wristbands

*Bj Upton- Right arm sleeve should be long. Left should be 3/4. He only wore them both long during the playoffs because of the temperature

*Evan Longoria- His stance is in the game. It is hidden. You can decide between Yadier and his in game stance because they are both close but not perfect.

*Jp Howell- Sleeves above elbows. Pants- baggy

*Brian Shouse- Has his own wind up. It is hidden

          *Fernando Perez- Pants- Low Socks

*Willy Aybar- Wrist tape on both arms. Sleeves- 3/4 for both. Tan glove

I cannot count how many times I've seen Adam Dunn's stance for Mather. I watched a couple games of spring training for the Cardinals and cannot stress how wrong ( in my mind at least ) it is.

I know everyone has their own opinion and I usually agree with most but I have to disagree with this one. After watching the game yesterday i can't say mine is better as he has changed his stance a lot but in all the games I've seen, he's has never once looked like Adam Dunn's stance to me. He is open and has his knees bent and now has the bat tilted behind his head.

Sorry to go off on you. But after thinking about it I have a question. Do you happen to have the PS2 version because if you do they probably haven't changed Dunn's stance and his former stance is pretty close to Mather's.

Re: Player Edit Thread 09 (Music, stances, accessories, numbers, etc.)

I'm sure u guys already know this, but I figured I'd mention it since I haven't seen it written anywhere. When in your Roster, if u press the green triangle button over any particular player, that players Upper Deck baseball card will come up, so u can get a good look at what the player wears for accessories (i.e. wristbands, forearm bands, wrist tape, helmets, gloves, blah, blah) or how they wear their uniform and so on. And the pictures seem to be pretty up-to-date, or at least very recently. It makes the editting player aspect a lot easier than having to come on here and search over and over again. Just a little tip for those that might not have seen this. Later

P.S. I have some things to add to this list but I'm really tired right now, so I will post some later on.

Yeah I never thought of that. I'll have to check that out. Remember some might change this year but as of now I guess the players card would work

I watched a Red Sox spring training game today and spent a couple hours trying to get more edits, mostly of minor leaguers that probably won't be available until Knight's roster. Some of these aren't perfect, but the best I could find. If you have any comments or suggestions, post em. I also posted this in the Red Sox team thread.

Carter - Iguchi (Pine bat, Elbow Guard, 3/4 sleeves)
Ambres - C. Guillen (Black bat, Shin guard)
Baldelli - Butler or Kotsay or Teahan. I'm going with Butler for now.
Wilkerson - T. Hall or Mauer or Ruiz. Going with Hall for now. (Pine bat, No Sleeves or forearm stuff, Long pants)
Green - J. Guillen (3/4 sleeves, Elbow guard, Pine bat, Shin guard, Long pants)
Chavez - Dunham (if only he moved the bat more it would be perfect) or Ellis or Campanella. Going with Dunham for now. (Pine bat, Wrist tape on both wrists)
Ochoa - S. Rodriguez or Scott or Barfield. Going with Rodriguez.
Tazawa - E. Ramirez or Soria or Wood. No one in the game is gonna have his delivery, but I think E. Ramirez is the best there is, but not great. He has his pause in the delivery like Tazawa. (Black glove, 3/4 sleeves)
Velasquez - I. Rodriguez or Zimmerman or Winn or Norton. Going with Rodriguez for now. (No forearm stuff, Pine bat)
Bailey -M. Izturis or Francoer. (Pine bat, no shin guard, short sleeves).

White Sox Prospect Tyler Flowers: Sandy Alomar Jr. It seems to be the closest thing to what I could find. It has the same arm placement and the closest positioning of his legs, IMO. His back leg and foot is positioned in a very odd position that eliminates many of the stances available in the game. Same thing with his right elbow. It points down, while many of the other ones have it parallel to the ground.

Keep up the good info, guys. I have been a bit busy lately (and sleeping a lot), so I haven't updated in a couple days. I will make all edits from Post #109 and on in the next few days.

(I bolded that for my own edification.)

So I've been trying and trying to find something that works for Clayton Kershaw. SCEA gaves him a hidden stance but it is no where near his real life stance. I'm thinking possibly Bobby Jenks after I sat and watched all the deliveries from behind (gives the most realistic view). However I'm still not really sure. . .

Bobby Jenks is only from the stretch, so how would that work?

I was really disappointed to see how lazy they were with Kershaw. He has a unique delivery that you can't find anywhere in the listed deliveries in the game, and instead of giving him his own, they just recycled Cole Hamels old delivery from the previous games. I honestly couldn't recommend one, because none in the game fit him.
