    Re: Chicago Cubs Roster Thread

First off, why is Rich Hill STILL on the Cubs?? That trade happened a while ago. Come on SCEA. Anyway.

I think Derrek Lee's stance should be Eli Marrero. Ive changed it to that every year because it looks the closest.

And also for those who have a problem with Soriano's stance...Have you tried Dave Roberts?? Seems better than A. Jones to me.

Also glad to see FINALLY they got Aramis Ramirez's stance right.

I will post more thoughts on editing when I go through everything and Ill be on the lookout for another Zambrano animation for SmashMan

EDIT: I think either Ian Kennedy or Kevin Correia would be the best for Lilly. Because the Generic one is not even close. You know Lilly brings the glove over his head right? Im leaning toward Ian Kennedy being the closest

Jeff Samardzija should be Andrew Miller because Samardzija doesn't always pitch from the stretch.

Also what stance are you using for Fukudome? The generic one that it gives him? Because that is not even close. Is the Shin Soo Choo one his im guessing?

And I know this has nothing to do with the Cubs but how terrible does Manny Ramirez look in this game. Holy Jesus!

EDIT AGAIN - So i just realize what you meant be Hidden haha that sucks because I just changed Fukodome's stance. Also went back and saw the generic Lilly and that IS the best.

I'll give you one thing - you are correct on Jeff Samardzija as he does not always pitch from the stretch...I guess he only does in closing situations...dually noted.

Soriano: ...there is NO WAY Dave Roberts is even remotely close. Soriano DEF has bat movement, and we are stuck with A. Jones for the BEST option. ((Trust me...I've went back and forth a million times...with MLB 08 and 09...until SCEA gets it correct, we are stuck with A. Jones - it looks GREAT from the pitcher/outfield view b.t.w.))

      D. Lee: Lee's stance is FINE!!! Eli Marrero's stance IS very close, but his hands are high enough...IRL, Lee holds the bat above his head (like his stance is)...so, IMO, Lee's signature stance is perfect!

Zambrano: I've looked through and Big -Z is tough to change, so I'm sticking with what they gave him.

Yes, Fukudome's stance is "hidden" but seen only to us as Generic 1...so (as stated in my first post)....DON'T TOUCH!

Lilly: Like Fukudome (and MANY other pitchers/hitters in this game)...DON'T TOUCH Lilly's delivery ...KEEP IT AT Generic 1....his delivery is hidden and is GREAT! (there are actually 2 Lilly deliveries...one that is hidden and one that you can actually edit him to- very weird) Keep the hidden Generic 1!

Glad the roster has the reset button lol

As far as Derrek Lee goes, his stance they give him his hands are TOO high. Which is why Marrero is better and this is just my suggestion because Marrero more accurately represents.

Roberts is closer than you think it is for Soriano as well. The Andruw Jones stance is too weird looking. His hands are to close to his head. The Roberts one has the right width and hands back from his head. Again my opinion and was just throwing it out there for those to try.

The Cubs/Sox game will be broadcast on WGN at 9:00 CT for those of you in the Chicago area. I'll be watching for Sox edits, just figured I'd let you know.

I was looking through on Soto's stance, and came across Jamey Carroll. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Soto's is perfect IMHO. Wish there was a little bit more bat movement cuz he moves it around a little bit but other than that no complaints

                  Re: Chicago Cubs Roster Thread

I have switched Zambrano's delivery over to Brad Penny's delivery in the PS2 version. It is near spot on, a little off from the stretch but the windup is pretty close.

                  Nice and slow and upright.

If they updated Penny's delviery to be more like his real delivery (over the head etc.) then obviously it won't work anymore. But the PS2 version didn't get updated so I'm good.

I was wondering if anyone has a good Aaron Heilman delivery? I watched him pitch against the White Sox and he doesn't throw sidearm like his delivery in game.

When Reed Johnson is introduced he is introduced as Mark DeRosa. Might wanna change that.

Sam didn't play in MLB last year. Same deal with Jake Fox so the can't be on the roster. Kinda sucks. I'm more upset about Paul Bako. He played in 99 games last year with the Reds and he is a made up player and his name isn't even in the game.
