I checked out Votto, Just didnt look right to me. Take a look at Jay Payton or even Phil Ruzzuto for Andy and let me know what you guys think.

Have you watched him play in the first two games of the season? Votto's stance looks the most like his new stance. Payton's looks more like his old stance. All in all it doesn't even really matter, since if it keeps going the way it's going, he won't even be playing a month from now.

I was looking for something decent for Colby Rasmus, I think the best looking one I could find was Tony Clark.

Yes I have watched him play his first two games, two spring training games, and I saw him live and in person in Bradenton. Votto's inst bad, but Andy is not on his front toes, his bat angle isnt high enough, his hands are in too far and his back elbow isnt down like Andy. There are a few other IMO that are better, but none are really accurate. Monroe, Payton, and a few others to me look decent for his stance THIS year. Use whatever you want though, its only my opinion I'll take a closer look at Votto, maybe I am missing something

Also, I wouldnt count Andy out after 2 games, he will bounce back on defense, and he has had some good ABs, hitting the ball hard. He'll find the holes and will be fine.

im not sure if you guys knew this or not but i was looking through the roster vault, and found a great one with all the minors players. i dont think its knights, but it could be because i dont know if/when knight will release it on the vault. its got all the pirates prospects and everything, only thing its missing is garret jones. looks like im gonna start a new franchise with these rosters!!!

sounds good strut. I'm by no means saying all the stances I use are right, its mostly opinion. I spent a lot of time looking at videos and looking through all the stances available in the game over and over, lol (too much time probably). I just posted what IMO look the best, and I'm still looking for better ones for a couple guys.

i've always wonder how they still spell paul maholm as pat maholm in the game....u know, its probably some sort of licensing thing.
his delivery is off anyway. i cant remember off the top of my head who i use but if you watch video of him with no runners on it almost looks like he's pitching out of the stretch. he has a short windup and a fast arm motion.....http://mlb.mlb.com/media/video.jsp?m...94293&c_id=pit
they have his delivery so slow on the show... btw sometimes he wears pants, other times he wears high socks so its up to you.

                        yes please.

and tree, trust me, I know what you mean. I literally spent 4 hrs yesterday watching and rewatching the Braves/Nats game from the other night where they both used almost all their pitchers so I could get a bunch of stances/motions done. some guys I still am going back and forth on but I wanna get this thing done by next weekend or so, so I'll trust your judgement and cross check them when I get to the Pirates. Thanks for your help

thats not a good video. Every shot starts with him already in his windup, not the whole windeup, thats why it looks like he is from the stretch.

He goes from a full windup and he does have a slower delivery and a short pause right when he steps on the rubber, which is accurate on the Show. The Show delivery of Maholm has his hand movement off, and his legs should be farther apart, other than that its good enough for me

Both of those are good, but i think sandaval's is better even though there is a bit too much movement....freddy does actually have a good amount of movement and it is the same motion as sandaval's.

                              both are good though.

The Show delivery of Maholm has his hand movement off, and his legs should be farther apart, other than that its good enough for me
i had looked at a lot of videos but i guess i was getting the same result....i'll just take your word for it. My problem is that i can't pitch effectively with his windup..

btw....i think i have backe for zach duke....it seems pretty close and i know that the "back touch" w/ his glove is perfect....
