Justin miller has long sleeves. Mlb forces him to because of his full sleeve tattoos. Teams have complained about being a distraction so he always has sleeves. This will be all moot if he don't make the roster.

Re: San Francisco Giants Roster Thread
K, caught the game tonight. Luckly everyone seemed to have the same stuff that was already in the game or covered in the edits. Only player I noticed was Ishikawa.

Lincecum's 2 Seam FB does not top out at 92mph. I edited him to increase the speed to 98mph. He throws gas and he actually throws his 2 seam harder than his 4 seam. Will > Skill.

Re: San Francisco Giants Roster Thread
Actually, you are incorrect. I'm not sure if you are a Giants fan and/or live in the SF Bay Area and get to watch/see a lot of games. Fortunately I do and he has hit the century mark on the gun with his 2 seam. He definitely throws it in the upper 90's. The guys is a freak and is incredible. Take a look at the links below as proof.

Re: San Francisco Giants Roster Thread
Posted this in Knight's thread, but I'll post it in here anyways.

Here's what the Giant's team should look like on opening day. (Note, I only listed 24 players, bottom note should say who will probably be the 25th player)
Starting Rotation
1) Tim Lincecum
2) Matt Cain
3) Randy Johnson
4) Barry Zito
5) Jonathan Sanchez
Bullpen
LR - Joe Martinez or Ramon Ortiz
MR - Merkin Valdez
MR - Alex Hinshaw
MR - Luis Perdomo
SU - Jeremy Affeldt
SU - Bob Howry
CL - Brian Wilson
Lineup:
LF - Fred Lewis
SS - Edgar Renteria
RF - Randy Winn
C - Bengie Molina
CF - Aaron Rowand
3B - Pablo Sandoval
1B - Travis Ishikawa
2B - Emmanuel Burriss
Bench:
2B/OF - Eugenio Velez
OF - Nate Schierholtz
2B/3B/SS - Juan Uribe
1B/3B - Rich Aurila
*25th player will probably be either one of these players:
C - Steve Holm
OF - Andres Torres
P - Joe Martinez or Ramon Ortiz
* - Bochy said he wants the backup catcher to be Sandoval and either Uribe or Aurila filling in at 3rd. If not, Holm would be the backup catcher and either Uribe or Aurila going down to Triple A.
*Sergio Romo is on the 15 day DL, but when he comes back up I'd expect Valdez to either be sent back to Triple A or slipping into the LR role with Martinez and Ortiz going down to Triple A.Comment

Re: San Francisco Giants Roster Thread
Eh, honestly I think the team is fine the way it is but he would be nice to have with his power. Only way I'd want him on the team is if he agreed to being on the bench on most days (unless they're facing a left handed pitcher).
Right now, I dont think he's an everyday player with his injuries over the last couple of years. Most likely he'll catch on with another team in the AL as a DH.

Bowker got sent down last week and Lowry is still injured so he'll most likely be on the DL when the season starts. When he comes back, he'll either be in AAA or as the LR.Comment

NP
Hahahaha, maybe. Been a Giants fan my entire life so it's gonna be pretty hard for me to be wearing the green and yellow. It would be much more convenient instead of taking Bart up to Oakland or SF though. :wink:Comment

Re: San Francisco Giants Roster Thread
Anyone edit Ishikawa. He hit pretty well last year in his call up and is hitting well in spring training, leading the team in HRs. I don't expect him to be great, but I don't think its out of reason to believe that he'll be an OK starting 1B. In the Show, his ratings really stink and don't really do him justice. His ratings should be more along the lines of the ratings the game gave Sandoval, whose should have higher contact than he has in the game (but his power is about right).
I'd really like to see CAPs for Jesus Guzman, Posey, Bumgarner, Angel V, and Alderson. Those would be great additions to make the Giants roster pretty complete as far as minor leaguers with good potential to contribute in the coming years.
Unfortunately, I'm playing on the PSP, so all the rosters posted here aren't going to help me. If anyone can post the CAPS for these players based on some of the other rosters, I'd really appreciate it.Comment

Re: San Francisco Giants Roster Thread
Sounding more like it will be Martinez and Torres making the team. Going with Sandoval as #2 catcher, at least early anyways as they have many off days in April.Comment
