Correct me if im wrong but Barry Zito doesnt use the delivery they have for him in the game anymore or at least the hands over head part, anyways try bronson arroyo for his revised delivery

These CAPs were absolutely spot on. The only suggestion I would have was to raise Posey's hitting attributes just a bit. I moved his contact from 50/53 to 60/63. That makes him a pretty good prospect in the game in comparison to others, but not anything that will be dominant right away.

The only other thing I did to the Giants ratings was raise Ishikawa's power a little bit (I think to around 50 vs RH pitching).

Now I can finally start my PSP franchise.

Went to the game tonight...the losing streak is finally over!

Does anyone have CAPs for Torres and Guzman?

I started my franchise with the 5/13 update and would like to edit a couple fictional guys into these players if possible...

Torres was created in the last roster update but he stinks. Also, Dallas McPherson is now on the Giants AAA squad. He hit 47 HRs in AAA last year to lead all of the minor leagues. He's in the game as a FA but for some reason he has next to no power with his power bar almost entirely to the left. I didn't even add him to my roster in my franchise because he was so bad.

You can edit his attributes.

I know I know. I just always feel guilty doing that myself because I don't really think I'm all that impartial. I've always tried to go with the actual roster the game puts out or one that someone OS has done here. I try not to edit ratings on my own. I know, I'm weird...

You're not weird for feeling that way. There are thousands of default attributes that are nowhere near accurate. Just do some research on the player or players who you want to change, study the ratings of some of the top players who are more likely to be rated accurately and then make the changes that you think need to be made.

I guess Torres could be edited to be somehwere in Scherholtz' OVR range b/c they're both on the MLB roster...

If someone could / would post what SECA has for him, I'll happily use it as a base...

I'll probably just boost McPherson's power a bit and go from there...

I left McPhersons contact at 50/40 (he's a 250 hitter at best) and bumped his power to 70/60.

He's been a career power hitter who just can't consistantly hit for average, which is why he never seems to stick in the Majors. I'm not sure why they had his power rated so low (in the 20's) in game.

Also, does anyone know if Josh Phelps is still on the Giants roster in the minors somewhere? He's still on the roster on all the roster updates, but I can't find him on any minor league roster anywhere with any team. I'm wondering if the Giants released him outright and he never signed anywhere, although I find this hard to believe because he's still a pretty decent backup firstbaseman.

I think it was Knight who had the same question about Phelps and apparently he's out for the season and they put him on the DL.

Schierholtz wore gloves in a pinch hit tonight. I'll wait to see if he wears them again in another game before changing the original post.
