Ridin: your rosters are great thank you for putting the time into them to make them.

I have been waiting for a roster set to start my season. I chose to use your roster set ridensopeningdaysetv2 and made a few adjustments.

-I updated each teams 40 man rosters. (All American League 40 man rosters current as of 4/7/09 12pm, I will be working on NL teams tomorrow in order to complete the roster set)
-Updated each teams batting orders according to their opening day batting orders.
-Changed a few players numbers.
-Added secondary positions for those who have secondary positions (i used yahoo sports for the secondary positions).
-Any player on 15 day DL was moved to AAA any player on 60 day DL has been removed from 40 man roster

Like I said i hope to work on NL teams tomorrow and upload it when i am finished.. All credit is given to Ridin as they are his rosters Im just tryin to help out to make the most accurate roster set possible.

FYI, i'm getting an invalid roster message when trying to download this.

ok just for any of you that didnt know, right now any roster you download off the vault will be messed up. if you connect to sportsconnect at all, any downloaded roster you have will be hit with the stat glitch. Unless you have a franchise saved or download a unaffected roster set to a memory stick, YOU CANNOT AVOID THE GLITCH.Once you connect to sports connect its over. I am betting that when you get that message applying roster file whether you save it or not, is the cause of the problem. So if you dont have a franchise saved do not connect to sports connect

what is this glitch? what did they do that caused the glitch?

Ok. I'm mostly doing this for me, but I figured I would put it here just to see if anyone else wanted it. I'm not putting it on sendspace or sportsconnect because this isn't my original file. Thanks for doing this Ridin, and if you don't want this post up here just have a Mod delete it.

These are some of the changes I made to Ridin's set, which is awesome and highly recommended. I am a perfectionist on ratings and stuff so bare with me.

This contains no delivery or stance edits. That is everyone's personal judgement.
I also used the number changes posted above.

Matt Wieters Added 10 to all Contact/Power stats plate vision/plate disc. added 10 also. Moved durability to 84. Arm strength/accuracy to 64/61

Ridin, Thanks for doing this! your hard work is appreciated! I noticed on your most recent roster file that OF Michael Taylor isn't on AA Reading Phillies. He was on your 3/23 file but not on the opening day file. He is on the roster.

I just downloaded Ridin's 3/23 set and was able to avoid the stats glitch.

Are you sure? I tried a few different roster files last night and every file caused the stats glitch.

i just d/l the 3/23 file and the glitch is gone... so im going to start all my work over from there.

You're using Ridinrosters 3/23 file?

What exactly did you do to get rid of the stat glitch? Just downloaded his roster from SportsConnect and use it in Franchise? Did you load it before you started your franchise and then chose default roster or did you choose saved roster when starting your franchise?

2) Go to Load and load them up.
3) Go to franchise
4) When asked what rosters simply click on current

I was rather surprised so I checked a couple times and sure enough it worked!

Yes, at least as far as I understand it is the opening day roster. It has all of the Cubs 25/40 man rosters and real minor league players. It also has the lineup "fix". Ridin uploaded an Opening Day Set that was based off of the 3/23 and it is on the Roster Vault. If you look through his rosters, in the description, there will be one that says it is an Opening Day Set based on the 3/23 file.
