Shmooz...sorry late to the party. Are these team changes that you've posted recently on Ridins online set? Is he adding them as you post, and putting updates online? Or, do we make these changes ourselves? Thanks for your hard work and attention to detail. I am going to download them tomorrow when I have more time...looking forward to a 'chise.

Ridin was only able to implement some changes before his release. I have also editied alot of my posts to add more things & more players as I watch more games. So if you want these edits, you will have to do them yourself.

Btw... as I posted earlier, many of these things are already correct in the game. I am posting this based on what I am seeing as I watch the actual ballgames. So you can look at the players in the game & see what's correct & what is not. Then edit them accordingly.

Ridin, What happen to all of the help you were suppose to be getting with this set? I thought guys were going to pass your file around after it came out and make updates to some of the more "flavorfull" things such as equip, faces, and such. Sorry I could not help this time around , I had fun helping you on the other set. Just think I will be asking you to return the favor in two months to work on NCAA rosters:wink:.
By the way excellent job on the roster, esp since you knocked them out in a week.

Is there a way we can, as a community, update the faces and stuff for Ridin's set? I realize it takes a lot of time, but if we all did one team it wouldn't take too long?

Hate to sound like a bummer here, but how the EFF do you strike anyone out in this game!!!! It's really pissing me off! I cant figure out if its the new roster, or cause of the patch? Its really making me not want to play this at all! Before the patch and without downloading rosters I started a franchise and the K's were realistic. Now Ive restarted my franchise Yanks on Legend (which I was playing before) 6 times! Sabathia is getting like 2-4 K's over 7 innings everytime I restart! Im currently in the middle of a game in the 5th and Sabathia doesnt even have a strikeout! I feel like Im playing Bases Loaded! This really sucks! Any help would be gratefully appreciated before I throw this game out of my 3rd story apartment window!

Oh and I forgot to mention the fact that also the CPU is a lot more homer happy! In each game the Orioles yeah the Orioles have averaged about 3-5 homers a game! I mean this is effing ridiculous! I dont know what has happened to this game! It must be the patch? Im goin to restart this one more time and if its the same thing I guess im officially retiring from The Show!

I have a very simple question for you.
I guess you have made slider adjustments and changed levels, before you just deemed the game worthless right?
I guess it must make up for "shortcomings" in other areas to refuse to drop down from Legend or adjust a slider. I can not believe that you did not bring up the computer comeback code again. Find another topic to crash besides Ridins sliders.

lol...don't know what to tell you. I pitched a game with Pedro Martinez (with his stamina edited down into the 50's...all other stats default) and struck out 8 over 6 1/3 innings. Didn't give up any homers too. In fact, I noticed I've struck out more POST-patch than prior and homeruns haven't changed at all.

The point being that if you look for the patch to fix/create phantom things...it will. The gameplay is the same as it always was. I would suggest patience, as the game (much like the real thing

goes through peaks and valleys, but based on your posts I think it would be falling on deaf ears anyway.

Just to let you know something else Cardinals related; Brett Wallace was drafted in the 2008 draft, 1st round, pick #13.

OH NO! THE SKY IS FALLING!

You do realize that the real CC Sabathia is only averaging 4.5 strikeouts per game, riiiiight? On April 6th, he didn't strike out a single batter! Oh noes! On April 16, he only struck out FOUR. Madness! And get this...on April 22, he only struck out TWO. The HORROR!

So it would seem that 2-4 per isn't far off at all. Therefore, sounds to me like you only need to adjust your approach to pitching just a tad, or drop a slider a click or two and BAM, you'll have your 4.5 a game. That hardly makes the game worthless, or in need of tossing out your apartment window.

How many K's are you expecting? 10 per game? Good ole CC doesn't even do that. Watch a little baseball once in a while before climbing to that ledge and taking the plunge.

Maybe the Yankees are ready to toss CC out of their apartment window, too!
