I dont know. I looked threw all the other teams and nobody else had a position player pitching. It was funny...I simmed the next season nobody had done it....He also played in CF had pretty good stats on both ends....Although we did make the playoffs he was injured when I finished simming the regular season

The way Lee has pitched, I'm not complaining about his ratings. After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!Comment

It's unfortunate and probably a display issue, especially if one of the correct pitchers win the Cy Young and Joe Mauer is credited with it on the accolades screen! I saw this happen with CC Sabathia and a 3B from Boston..the 3B was recorded as winning the award not Sabathia!Dedicated member of the CPU v CPU worldwide brethren.Comment

Re: Ridins Rosters
On the next ridins update (whoever is working on it at the moment lol)... Can you please fix some of the pitcher ratings. For example Carmona being higher rated than the ace Cliff Lee is beyond ridiculous especially with what Carmona is doing. Anyway keep up the good and I look forward to next release with equipment edits exc.

Re: Ridins Rosters
He has been Cy Young material if you disregard his first start. Josh Beckett is still rated higher and Beckett has been laughable at best.
Oh yeah he is from Boston so he is one of the greatest pitchers ever. Never mind I'll shut up.Comment

Yes, he didn't put those up there though. I read some guy put them up there and they are his latest.Comment

Re: Ridins Rosters
dorismary posted them. They are Ridin's latest rosters (the one's he posted the link to in post #862 of this thread) but Ridin did not post them on the sportsconnect roster vault.Comment

Re: Ridins Rosters
This is a link to franchise files based on Ridins last set.
included is a Cubs and Red Sox Franchise set for Opening Day and with CPU roster control ON. Some players like Ichiro and A Rod will have to be called up when it is time.
Lineups and Rotations are set for Opening Day and Lineups and rotations were done after Spring Training so they "stick". The CPU will not rearrange lineups or rotations. Use two controllers for games you actually play to have the correct lineups for games you play. Check out my CPU lineup workaround thread for details.
The simmed games will be correct since my lineups/rotations stick (I edited the lineups/rotations after spring training (after ST they get rearranged)). Check the box scores.
These franchises (Cubs and Red Sox) are based on Ridin's Final Rosters and do not have the career stat glitch. Although Ridin did not alter many ratings, I have also edited a few players back to stock SCEA ratings (Soriano, Helton (except for speed), Sizemore to name a few) and they are staying in the correct lineup order.
All new SCEA players ratings have been added up to 5/18/09 such as Matt LaPorta, John Koronka, Carlos Corporan, Ron Villone, Bobby Scales, and all the guys that have been added since this roster set base (5-11-09 I believe (I am sure its listed somewhere in this thread). I have also fixed some apparel for Cubs and Red Sox players. All ratings other than stock SCEA ratings were done by Ridin of course.
Don't forget to load your own settings and slider sets into these franchises.
Hope some of you can use these.
Note: The SCEA stock rosters from 5-18-09 are also included and it lists it as so in the Megaupload page.
Thanks Ridin for all your hard work on the rosters and I hope you don't mind me posting these franchises here.Last edited by DrUrsus; 05-22-2009, 09:31 PM.Comment

Re: Ridins Rosters
Cliff Lee is great. I would like to have him on the Cubs, maybe Jim Hendry can make more trades with you guys, except he has given away our favorite players to you guys, lol.
I miss Wood and DeRosa. Standup guys. I even met Kerry Wood a few years ago on a Cubs cruise. Very nice guy. DeRosa is so versatile. The Cubs sure could use him now that Aramis Ramirez is out for a while.Comment
